Die Department of Sport, Recreation, Arts and Culture soek 'n intern om werkplekvaardigheids-, beurs- en internskapprogramme by sy Hoofkantoor in Qonce vir 24 maande te administreer.

Vereistes

• Nasionale Senior Sertifikaat/Matriek Sertifikaat/Graad 12 met 'n driejarige graad/Nasionale Diploma (NQF 6) soos deur SAQA erken in Opleiding en Ontwikkeling/Bestuur van Opleiding/ HRM met Opleiding as 'n hoofvak.
• Wees 'n Suid-Afrikaanse burger.
• Moet geen strafrekord hê nie.
• Aansoekers moet werkloos wees en voorheen nooit aan 'n internskapprogramme deelgeneem het nie.

Pligte

• Ontwikkel en implementeer die Workplace Skills Program (WSP).
• Administreer beursprogramme vir alle beursbekendigings.
• Administreer die Graduate Internship-, TVET- en Work Integrated-programme.
• Onderhoud van die databasis vir alle HRD-programme.
• Verrig administratiewe pligte soos die voorbereiding vir indoksing van afgestudeerdes en leerders, asook die skryf van aanstellings- en uitgangsbriewe vir ekstern gefinansierde studente.
• Monitor Internship-verslae en bywoningsregisters.
• Verskaf bystand by die koördinering van Compulsory Induction (CIP), departementele indoksing, asook die onderhoud van geïndokste amptenare en departementele oriëntering.
• Reël Youth Developmental Programme-vergaderings en die neem van notules.

The Department of Sport, Recreation, Arts & Culture is offering an internship programme. The programme will be for a non-renewable period of 24 months. Unemployed Graduates are invited to apply and be in possession of the National Diploma / Degree as indicated in the requirements below. Applicants who previously underwent or are currently on an internship programme will not be considered. The objective of the Internship program within the public service, is to address the problem of youth unemployment, especially tertiary (university and Technikon) graduates by providing them with work experience opportunities in the public service. As per the Directive issued by DPSA on the employment of persons to developmental programmes in the public service: Internship, Learnership, Apprenticeship, Graduate recruitment schemes and related programmes, this Internship programme is specifically aimed at the following: Interns need to be graduates and unemployed. Interns need to be within their specific demographic area. The internship should not exceed a period of 24 months, meaning candidates cannot enter into an internship program more than once. During the tenure of the contract, the youth will receive continuous learning and development interventions to improve their skills through on-the-job training initiatives for optimal performance and to equip them for future employment.
