Kufunwa umuntu ozelelwe isikhundla sezokwelapha ezifundeni zengqondo e-Khayelitsha District Hospital, Western Cape, ukuze anikeze izinsizakalo ze-clinical ezifundeni zengqondo ezingeni lesikhundla kanye nokulawula izinto ze-clinical kuyo yonke isifunda.

Izidingo

• Izifundo ezingaphansi eziyisidingo: I-qualification efanele evumela ukubhaliswa kwi-Health Professions Council of South Africa njengomuntu ozelelwe isikhundla sezokwelapha ezifundeni zengqondo.
• Ukubhaliswa kwi-professional council: Ukubhaliswa kwi-HPCSA, njengomuntu ozelelwe isikhundla sezokwelapha ezifundeni zengqondo.
• Isipiliyoni: Grade 1: Akukho okudingekayo ngemva kokubhaliswa kwi-HPCSA njengomuntu ozelelwe isikhundla sezokwelapha ezifundeni zengqondo.
• Grade 2: Ubuncane beminyaka emi-5 yesipiliyoni esifanele njengomuntu ozelelwe isikhundla sezokwelapha ezifundeni zengqondo, ngemva kokubhaliswa kwi-HPCSA (noma i-foreign Health Professional Council eqashelwe mayelana nomsebenzi oqeqeswe kwelinye izwe).
• Grade 3: Ubuncane beminyaka eyi-10 yesipiliyoni esifanele njengomuntu ozelelwe isikhundla sezokwelapha ezifundeni zengqondo, ngemva kokubhaliswa kwi-HPCSA (noma i-foreign Health Professional Council eqashelwe mayelana nomsebenzi oqeqeswe kwelinye izwe).
• Ikhono (ulwazi/izikhali): Isipiliyono se-clinical ezifundeni zengqondo emazingeni ezinsizakalo yesifunda kanye nokuqwasha kwezempilo yomphakathi kuqala.
• Ikhono lokunikeza ukunakekelwa kwe-clinical okwenani eliphezulu esimeni sokungena esibhedlela nasenkundleni yokuhlinzeka abagulayo bangaphandle, okuhlanganisa ulwazi oluhle nge-mithetho kanye namapholisi, ukugcina irekhodi yezokwelapha, ukubhala imibiko kanye nokwazi ukusebenzisa ikhompyutha.
• Ikhono lokulinganisa imiphumela yomthwalo wemisebenzi omkhulu we-clinical nezidingo zokufundisa kanye nokuhlola.
• Amakhono amakhulu okuphatha, okubusa, okuxhumana kanye nokuxazulula izinkinga.

Umsebenzi

• Ukunikezwa kwezinsizakalo ze-clinical enkingeni yesikhundla kuyo yonke imikhakha yezifundo zengqondo emazingeni esifunda, okuhlanganisa amawadi, abagulayo bangaphandle, i-Emergency Centre kanye namakiliniki akhethekile e-Khayelitsha District Hospital.
• Ukuphatha kanye nokulawula izinto ze-clinical okuhlanganisa ukubusa, inqubo yokuphatha abantu, ukuphatha i-OPD, ukuhlaziya idatha, kanye nokuthuthukisa izinga.
• Ukufundisa, ukuqeqesha kanye nokuhlola osohleki bezokwelapha abasha kanye nabafundi ngokubamba iqhaza ohlelweni le-academic lesibhedlela kanye nokuhlola ukusiza abasebenzi besiqophe kwezempilo yomphakathi abanakekela ngqondo.
• Imiphumela ethile ekule minyakazo nokubamba iqhaza ngaphakathi kwesimiso se-KESS, okuhlanganisa ukubamba iqhaza kanye nokuhambisana nezinsizakalo emazingeni esibhedlela lesifunda, iziteshi zokuqondisa kanye nokuxhumana ne-Mental Health Care Review Board.
