Mediese Spesialis in Psigiatrie gesoek vir Khayelitsha Distrikshospitaal, Western Cape, om spesialisvlak kliniese psigiatriese dienste en kliniese bestuur oor die distrik te lewer.

Vereistes

• Minimum opvoedkundige kwalifikasie: Toepaslike kwalifikasie wat registrasie by die Health Professions Council of South Africa as Mediese Spesialis in Psigiatrie moontlik maak.
• Registrasie by 'n professionele raad: Registrasie by HPCSA, as Mediese Spesialis in Psigiatrie.
• Ervaring: Graad 1: Geen na registrasie by die HPCSA as 'n Mediese Spesialis in Psigiatrie.
• Graad 2: 'n Minimum van 5 jaar se toepaslike ervaring as Mediese Spesialis in Psigiatrie, na registrasie by die HPCSA (of 'n erkende buitelandse Health Professional Council met betrekking tot 'n buitlands gekwalifiseerde werknemer).
• Graad 3: 'n Minimum van 10 jaar se toepaslike ervaring as Mediese Spesialis in Psigiatrie, na registrasie by die HPCSA (of 'n erkende buitelandse Health Professional Council met betrekking tot 'n buitlands gekwalifiseerde werknemer).
• Bevoegdhede (kennis/vaardighede): Kliniese ervaring in Psigiatrie op distriksvlakdienste en kliniese primêre gesondheidsorg.
• Vermoë om hoëgehalte spesialisvlak kliniese sorg in die ontslag- en buitepasiëntomgewing te lewer, insluitend goeie kennis van wetgewing en beleid, mediese rekordhouding, verslagskrywing en rekenaargeletterdheid.
• Vermoë om die uitsette van 'n groot kliniese werklading te balanseer met die onderrig- en toesigvereistes van die pos.
• Sterk administratiewe, bestuurs-, kommunikasie- en konflikbeslegtingsvaardighede.

Pligte

• Kliniese dienslewering op spesialisvlak oor die volle spektrum van distriksvlak Psigiatrie, insluitend sale, buitepasiënte, Emergency Centre en gespesialiseerde klinieke by Khayelitsha Distrikshospitaal.
• Administratiewe en kliniese bestuur insluitend leierskap, People Management-prosesse, OPD-bestuur, data-analise en gehalteverbetering.
• Onderrig, opleiding en toesig oor junior mediese personeel en studente met deelname aan die hospitaal se akademiese program asook uitreiktoesig aan primêre gesondheidsorgverpleegkundiges.
• Domeinspesifieke uitsette en deelname binne die KESS-ekosisteem, insluitend deelname aan en belyning met distrikshospitaalvlakdienste, verwysingsfasiliteite en skakeling met die Mental Health Care Review Board.
