Administrative Officer: Human Resource Management

Overview
Provide human resource management support at Forensic Pathology Services Head Office, handling personnel provisioning, talent sourcing, and administration.
Requirements
- Minimum educational qualification: Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
- Experience: Appropriate experience in Talent Sourcing.
- Appropriate experience in Personnel Administration.
- Appropriate PERSAL experience.
- Inherent requirements of the job: Valid Code B/EB driver’s license.
- Will be required to wear a uniform.
- Will be required to travel within the province to provide support for talent sourcing processes.
- Must be willing to work overtime, when required.
- Competencies (knowledge/skills): Knowledge of all prescripts/aspects of Public Service Act, i.e.
- Public Service Regulations (PSR) Labour Relations Act, Basic Conditions of employment act, Employment Equity Act.
- Planning and organising skills.
- Problem Solving Skills.
- Analytical Thinking skills.
- Ability to supervise and plan.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to function independently as well as in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to communicate clearly and discreetly in person and writing.
- Computer Literacy in at least MS Word, Ms Excel, MS Outlook and MS PowerPoint.
Duties
- Assist with the management of personnel provisioning which includes establishment amendments, control and reporting.
- Effective and Efficient management of talent sourcing processes.
- Which includes advertising, selection, interview, finalisation of processes and transfers.
- Render an effective personnel administration function.
- Provide an effective support function to manager and personnel.
