Oudit- en Risikokomitee-voorsitter

Oorsig

Die Department of Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities soek 'n Oudit- en Risikokomitee-voorsitter om leierskap en finansiële toesig in Pretoria te behartig.

Vereistes

• Aansoeker moet in besit wees van 'n Graad 12-sertifikaat, 'n toepaslike nagraadse kwalifikasie (NQF level 8) soos deur SAQA erken in Regte, Rekenkunde, Ouditering, Risikobestuur, Besigheidsbestuur, Regte, Openbare Administrasie of tersaaklike kwalifikasies; 'n Minimum van vyf (5) jaar se ervaring in die diens op en/of die voorsit van 'n Oudit- en Risikokomitee, Raad, Komitee of soortgelyke bestuurs-/toesigstruktuur;
• Lidmaatskap van 'n erkende professionele liggaam soos die South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA), Institute of Internal Auditors South Africa (IIA SA), Legal Practice Council (LPC), of 'n equivalente erkende professionele liggaam. 'n Deeglike begrip van die PFMA, Tesourie-regulasies en toepaslike openbare sektor-bestuurs-, oudit-, risikobestuur- en finansiële verslagdoeningsraamwerke; 'n Deeglike begrip van die onderskeie rolle en verantwoordelikhede van die Boekhoudingsbeampte, Uitvoerende Gesag, Oudit- en Risikokomitee, Interne Oudit en Auditor-General of South Africa;
• Kennis van die PFMA, Tesourie-regulasie en ander openbare sektorraamwerke;
• Kennis en begrip van finansiële state, interne beheer, risikobestuur, interne en eksterne oudit, prestasie-inligting en bestuur;
• Sterk leierskaps-, strategiese dink-, analitiese, kommunikasie- en interpersoonlike vaardighede;
• Onafhanklikheid, integriteit, objektiwiteit en professionele oordeel;
• In staat wees om voldoende tyd te wy aan die effektiewe nakoming van die verantwoordelikhede van die Voorsitter.

Pligte

• Die suksesvolle kandidaat sal onder andere die volgende doen: Effektiewe leierskap aan die Oudit- en Risikokomitee bied.
• Verseker dat die Komitee sy verantwoordelikhede effektief nakome ooreenkomstig sy goedgekeurde Handves en toepaslike wetgewing en voorskrifte.
• Effektiewe toesig oor finansiële verslagdoening, prestasie-inligting, risikobestuur, interne beheer en bestuursprosesse fasiliteer.
• Toesig hou oor die Interne Oudit-funksie om sy doeltreffendheid en onafhanklikheid te verseker.
• Die monitering van die implementering van aanbevelings voortspruitend uit interne en eksterne ouditprosesse fasiliteer.
• Effektiewe kommunikasie en betrokkenheid tussen die Komitee, Uitvoerende Gesag, Boekhoudingsbeampte, bestuur, Interne Oudit en die Auditor-General of South Africa fasiliteer.
• Verseker dat beduidende bestuurs-, risiko-, beheer-, finansiële bestuurs- en ouditkwessies behoorlik oorweeg en geeskalteer word.
• Aan die Uitvoerende Gesag rapporteer oor die aktiwiteite en doeltreffendheid van die Oudit- en Risikokomitee.
• Verantwoordelikheid, deursigtigheid, etiese gedrag en goeie bestuur binne die departement bevorder.
• Die jaarlikse assessering van die Oudit- en Risikokomitee lei.

A covering letter outlining their suitability for appointment as Chairperson of the Audit and Risk Committee. Copies of qualifications and identification.
