Oorsig

Loodgieter benodig by ST Chads CHC in KwaZulu-Natal om installasie, herstelwerk en onderhoud van loodgietersisteme, warmwatergeysers en sanitêre fasiliteite te behartig.

Vereistes

• Standaard 10/ Graad 12-sertifikaat.
• Toepaslike AmbagsToetssertifikaat ingevolge artikel 13(9)(2)(h) van die Mannekragwet van 1981 soos gewysig.
• Geldige bestuurslisensie. 'n Minimum van 0-2 jaar se ervaring as 'n Loodgieter in 'n toepaslike veld.
• Kennis, Vaardighede, Opleiding en Bevoegdhede Vereis.
• Kennis van Beroepsgesondheid en Veiligheid en veiligheidsstandaarde.
• Kennis van basiese onderhoud en herstel van gebreekte pype.
• Kennis van veiligheidsisteme van werk.
• Vermoë om onafhanklik te werk.
• Vermoë om onder druk te werk.
• Goeie kommunikasievaardighede (sowel mondeling as skriftelik).
• Kennis van Batho Pele-beginsels.

Pligte

• Installasie, herstelwerk en onderhoud van hoëdruk- en laedrukgeysers.
• Installasie en herstelwerk aan toilette, urinale en ander sanitêre fasiliteite soos stortbad en baddens ens. installasie en herstelwerk aan water- en rioolretikulasiesisteem.
• Maak verstopte dreine, dakghote, afvoerpype, afwaterlyne en sylyne skoon.
• Neem en registreer daagliks watertoevoerlesings.
• Onderhoud aan brand slang hoof toevoer, brandslange en brandkraane.
• Daaglikse verslagdoening van foute, werkvoortgang en daaglikse voltooiing van werkvoortgang en daaglikse voltooiing van werkkaart/ tydstrokke volgens ouditeur se instruksie.
• Wees bereid om primêre gesondheidsorgklinieke te besoek om onderhoudspligte te verrig wanneer vereis.
• Installasie van dakghote en afvoerpype en gegalvaniseerde pype.
• Stel verslae op en dien dit in, verskaf insette oor die opstel van tegniese verslae.
• Tree op as plaasvervanger vir Ambagsman Voorman wanneer vereis.
• Maak deel uit van 'n multidissiplinêre span wat rondtes doen in die CHC en klinieke en neem nodige stappe om alle geïdentifiseerde tekortkominge reg te stel.
• Wees bereid om oortyd en wagdienspligte te werk.
• Om nodige stappe te neem om alle geïdentifiseerde tekortkominge reg te stel.
• Om verantwoordelikheid te neem vir interne opleiding en bevordering van ondergeskiktes.
• Om wagdienspligte en oproepe buite werksure te verrig.
• Om toesig te hou oor handwerksman en ander ambagsmanne by te staan wanneer versoek deur die onderhoudstoesiener.
• Voorkeur sal gegee word aan Afrika Manlik
