Gesondheids- en Veiligheidsbeampte by Madadeni Provinsiale Hospitaal in KwaZulu-Natal, wat 'n graad of diploma in Omgewingsgesondheid of Veiligheidsbestuur vereis met 3-5 jaar se veiligheidservaring.

Vereistes

• Graad / Nasionale Diploma in Omgewingsgesondheid of Veiligheidsbestuur.
• Minimum van 3-5 jaar se ervaring in Veiligheid.
• Vereiste kennis, vaardighede en bevoegdhede: Kennis van relevante wetgewing met betrekking tot ArbeidsGesondheid en Veiligheid.
• Identifikasie, beheer, eliminasie en monitering van gevare.
• Gesondheidsvoorligting en administrasie van die dienste.
• Kennis van rekenaarvaardigheid. Ongelukondersoek. Rampbestuur.

Pligte

• Identifikasie van potensiële situasies wat tot besering/verstommendheid/dood van 'n staflid/besoeker kan lei.
• Behoorlike skade of verlies, interne rampe, medies-regtelike eise en rapportering daarvan aan die arbeids gesondheids- en veiligheidsbestuurder.
• Verseker dat afgevaardigde bestuurs- en administratiewe funksies tydig en korrek uitgevoer word sodat gesondheid en veiligheid in die instelling kan funksioneer.
• Bystand verleen by die ontwikkeling en opstel van handleidings, beleide en protokolle wat ingesluit sal word by die uitrol van die gesondheids- en veiligheidsopleiding, oriëntering en inlywingsprogramme.
• Neem deel aan veiligheidsoudits vir die instelling in ooreenstemming met die Wet op ArbeidsGesondheid en Veiligheid, 85 van 1993.
• Bystand verleen aan die arbeids gesondheids- en veiligheidsbestuurder om te verseker dat geboue, konstruksies, aanlegte en masjinerie aan die nakomingsertifikate voldoen en dit behou wat gereguleer word deur die Wet op ArbeidsGesondheid en Veiligheid, 85 van 1993 en sy regulasies.
• Reël en rekord die rampoefeninge.
• Verseker dat alle werknemers en diensverskaffers binne die hospitaal aan die vereiste veiligheidsprotokolle voldoen.
• Verseker dat mense, pasiënte, staf en die gebou veilig is en die Hospitaal regmatig voldoen, OHSD, norme en standaarde, DOH-vereistes, werkplekbesigtings uitvoer, PPE-bestuur, ergonomie en stafveiligheid.
• Skakel met die ArbeidsGesondheidspan oor T.B, Hep B-stralingsmonitering ens.
• Verseker brandveiligheid en noodgereedheid.
• Verseker Infeksiebeheer en pasiëntveiligheidsondersteuning, d.w.s. verwarming, ventilasie, afvalbestuur, kontrakteurveiligheid.
• Voer opleiding en bewusmaking oor Gesondheid en Veiligheid uit.
• Implementeer monitering en gehalteverbetering.
