Vereistes

• Senior Certificate of ekwivalente kwalifikasie.
• Basiese kwalifikasies by die South African Nursing Council (SANC) geakkrediteer ingevolge Government Notice R425 (d.w.s.
• Diploma/Degree in verpleegkunde) of ekwivalente kwalifikasie wat registrasie by die SANC as 'n Registered Nurse and Midwife toelaat.
• Degree in Nursing Education by die SANC geregistreer.
• Degree in Nursing Administration by die SANC geregistreer.
• Post basiese kwalifikasie in Midwifery and Neonatal nursing science by die SANC geregistreer en 'n meestergraad sal 'n bykomende voordeel wees.
• Huidige SANC-jaarlikse praktisysertifikaat.
• PND1: minimum van vyf (5) jaar toepaslike/erkennde verpleegervaring in Kliniese Vroedvroukunde na registrasie as Professional Nurse by SANC in Algemene verpleegkunde en Vroedvroukunde.
• PND2: minimum van vyf (5) jaar toepaslike/erkennde verpleegervaring in Kliniese Vroedvroukunde na registrasie as Professional Nurse by SANC in Algemene verpleegkunde en Vroedvroukunde en tien (10) jaar toepaslike/erkennde ervaring in verpleegonderrig.
• Kennis en toepassing van die South African Nursing Council Code of Ethics, Nursing Standards, Scope of Practice en alle tersaaklike regulasies.
• Moet rekenaarvaardig wees.
• Klank kommunikasie-, toesig-, verslagskryf- en voorleggingsvaardighede.
• Vermoë om in 'n span en onder druk te werk.
• Geldige bestuurslisensie.

Pligte

• Die suksesvolle kandidaat sal verantwoordelik wees vir, onder andere, die volgende spesifieke take: beplanning, koördinering en implementering van opleidingsprogramme; verskaf teoretiese en kliniese instruksies, en voer evaluerings van Midwifery Nursing Science-akademiese programme uit; kliniese begeleiding, toesig en implementering van assesseringsstrategieë om studente se bevoegdhede te bepaal; oefen beheer uit oor studente; verskaf studentebegeleiding en -ondersteuning ter bereiking van minimumkursusvereistes soos deur SANC vasgestel; ondersteun die sending van die Kollege deur in Komitees te dien, byeenkomste by te woon en deel te neem aan Kollege-aktiwiteide.
• Bevorder die beeld van die Kollege; neem deel aan navorsing relevant tot Verpleegonderrig.
• Ontwikkel, hersien en evalueer kurrikulum, en raak betrokke by eie deurlopende professionele ontwikkeling (CPD) verwant aan eie praktykarea en aan Verpleegonderrig.
