Handwerkman-pos by Central Johannesburg TVET College vereis Graad 12 en 'n loodgieter-, elektriese of skrynwerkkwalifikasie om algemene gebou-onderhoudspligte te verrig.

Vereistes

• Nasionale Senior Sertifikaat/ Graad 12/ Standaard 10 of gelykwaardig. 'n Kwalifikasie in loodgieterswerk, elektrisiteit of skrynwerkersertifikaat. 'n Erkende ambagsertifikaat sal voordelig wees. 0-6 maande se ervaring in 'n soortgelyke werksomgewing.
• Vaardighede en bevoegdhede: Wet op Beroepsgesondheid en Veiligheid, kennis van hoe om hand- en kraggereedskap te gebruik, kennis van gebou-infrastruktuuruitlegte.
• Kennis van infrastruktuurbeleid.
• Kennis van gebouonderhoud.
• Kennis van gebouwette; veilige berging van gereedskap, stoor en toerusting.
• Rekenaarvaardigheid en basiese sagteware (outlook, Excel en word).
• Kommunikasievaardighede, spandeelname, betroubaarheid, innoverend.
• Alle kortlyskandidate sal 'n voor-toetreding praktiese oefening onderneem as deel van die assesseringsmetode om die kandidaat se geskiktheid te bepaal op grond van die pos se tegniese en algemene vereistes. 'n Geldige bestuurderslisensie kan 'n voordeel wees (Kode 10 / EC1)

Pligte

• Voer algemene gebou- en onderhoudstoerusting uit, hanteer geringe loodgieterswerk, elektriese vermoë en handwerkman-take.
• Voer roetine weeklikse en maandelikse inspeksies van die gebou uit.
• Rapporteer ongemagtigde beweging van toerusting.
• Rapporteer opsetlike skade aan eiendom en bates.
• Verrig geringe onderhoud d.w.s. ontstop dreine, urinele en toilette.
• Vervang kraane.
• Voer inspeksie uit om defekte te bepaal.
• Herstel gebreekte meubels.
• Verf geboue soos versoek.
• Verseker dat gereedskap skoongemaak en in 'n veilige omgewing gestoor word.
• Onderhou hoofkombuis vetdrein.
• Maak dakgotte skoon.
• Onderhou stormwaterkanale.
• Rapporteer die behoefte aan groot onderhoud aan die toesighouer.
• Verrig enige ander ad hoc-aktiwiteite in verband met funksies wat aan hierdie pos verbonde is.
• Herstel meubels en verf geboue soos versoek.
• Verseker dat gereedskap skoongemaak en in 'n veilige omgewing herstel is.
