Sekuriteitsbeampte benodig by die Durban High Court om toegangsbeheer- en sekuriteitsfunksies uit te voer.
Vereistes
- 'n Aansoeker moet oor 'n graad 10 of gelykwaardige kwalifikasie beskik soos deur SAQA erken.
- Basiese Sekuriteitsbeampte-kursus, ten minste Graad C met 'n geldige PSIRA-sertifikaat. 'n Minimum van een (1) jaar ervaring in die sekuriteitsbedryf en 'n geldige bestuurderslisensie sal 'n bykomende voordeel wees.
- Kennis en vaardighede: Kennis van die Wet op Toegang tot Openbare Persele en Voertuie en ander sekuriteitsverwante wetgewing, toegangsbeheerprosedures, beheer en beweging van toerusting en voorrade, voorgeskrewe sekuriteitsprosedures (bv.
- MIS, NISA, Wet op die Beskerming van Inligting, ens.) en die gesag van sekuriteitsbeamptes ingevolge hierdie dokumente.
- Kennis van die tersaaklike noodprosedures en Batho Pele-beginsels.
- Vaardig in interpersoonlike vaardighede, kliëntediens, luistervaardighede, probleemoplossing, besluitneming, kommunikasie, rekenaar en fasilitering.
Pligte
- Voer toegangsbeheerfunksies uit, bepaal of besoekers afsprake het/of die diens wat die besoeker benodig, kontak die betrokke werknemers om die afspraak te bevestig of verwys die besoeker na die betrokke dienslewering punt, verseker dat die toelatingsbeheerregister voltooi is en reik toelatingsbeheerdokumente/kaarte uit soos vereis, gebruik 'n deurloop-metaalopspoorder vir die doeltreffendheid van toegangsbeheer, verseker dat ongemagtigde persone en gevaarlike voorwerpe nie die gebou/perseel binnegaan nie, rapporteer al die geïdentifiseerde sekuriteitskendinge en nie-nakoming aan die toesighouer, verseker dat toerusting, dokumente en voorrade nie ongemagtig die gebou of perseel verlaat of binnegaan nie, verseker dat die registers wat die beweging van toerusting, voorrade en dokumente beheer, voltooi is, verseker dat geen toerusting, voorrade as bates van die departement die gebou/perseel ongemagtig verlaat nie.
- Inspekteer voertuie wat die perseel binnegaan en verlaat, versamel inligting en rapporteer oor vermiste en gesteelde toerusting en voorrade, hanteer dokumente by toegangspunte volgens klassifikasie en die voorskrifte, bedien sekuriteitstoerusting in die kontrolekamer, monitor alle bewegings, gebeure en aktiwiteite binne die departement se perseel met behulp van CCTV-toerusting, verseker dat die sekuriteitsstelsel in 'n goeie werkende toestand is, rapporteer alle voorvalle wat gemonitor is, rapporteer aan die toesighouer, monitor alle toegangspunte vir doeltreffende toegangsbeheer, rapporteer alle geïdentifiseerde nie-nakoming van sekuriteitsbeleid en prosedures om kantoorsekuriteit te verbeter, verseker veiligheid in die gebou en perseel, onderneem gebou-/en perseelpatrolies om te identifiseer en na te gaan, pas noodprosedures toe (in situasies soos bomdreigemente, onluste ens.) en waarsk nooddienste en departementbestuur, monitor en reageer op alarmsisteme.
- Verseker dat alle voorvalle in die voorkomsboeke/registers aangeteken word, verseker dat aangetekende inligting korrek is, werk die inligting in die voorkomsboek/register op soos en wanneer vereis, skakel met die toesighouer om aangetekende inligting te verifieer en voer enige ander pligte uit wat deur die toesighouer/Hofbestuurder aan u opgedra word.

Prior to appointment for SMS, a candidate would be required to complete the Nyukela Programme: Pre-entry Certificate to Senior Management Services as endorsed by DPSA which is an online course, endorsed by the National School of Government (NSG). Each application form must be fully completed, duly signed and initialed on both pages by the applicant. Failure by the applicant to complete, sign and initial the application form will lead to disqualification of the application during the selection process.
