Hou toesig oor sekuriteitsfunksies by die Gauteng Hooggeregshof in Pretoria, wat Graad 12, PSIRA-registrasie en tersaaklike ervaring vereis.
Vereistes
- Aansoekers moet oor 'n Graad 12-sertifikaat beskik. 'n Minimum van een (1) jaar ervaring in die tersaaklike veld.
- Graad B PSIRA-sertifikaat, 'n geldige bestuurderslisensie sal as 'n bykomende voordeel dien.
- Kennis en vaardighede: Kennis van die toegangskontroleprosedures, maatreëls vir die beheer en beweging van toerusting en voorrade, voorgeskrewe sekuriteitsprosedures (bv.
- MIS, NISA, Wet op die Beskerming van Inligting, ens.) en die gesag van sekuriteitsbeamptes kragtens hierdie dokumente.
- Kennis van die tersaaklike noodprosedures Sekuriteitsbeleid en -prosedures, Wet op Toegang tot Openbare Persele en Voertuie, OHS-wet, 85 van 1993.
- Bedrewe in rekenaarvaardigheid (MS Office), kommunikasie (mondeling en skriftelik), toesighoudend, probleemoplossing, besluitneming, interpersoonlike verhoudinge, luister, beplanning en organisatoriese vaardighede.
- Saam met die volgende eienskappe: spanwerker, betroubaarheid en verantwoordelikheid, betroubaar, buigsaam, aandag aan besonderhede, vermoë om onder druk te werk en selfvertroue.
Pligte
- Hou toesig oor die sekuriteitsfunksies wat deur sekuriteitsbeamptes/diensverskaffers uitgevoer word; magtig toerusting, dokumente en voorrade in of uit die gebou of persele; inspekteer en rapporteer alle niefunksionering van sekuriteitsmaatreëls (bv.
- X-straalmasjiene, deurloopmetaaldetektore, sekuriteitsligte, ens.); kontroleer voorvalle/voorkomsboeke/registers; monitor en verskaf ondersteuning in noodgevalle; monitor uitkomste en instelleer die nodige korrektiewe maatreëls om afwykings van norme en standaarde aan te spreek; monitor toegangskontrole om ongemagtigde toegang tot geboue en ander persele te voorkom; verskaf sekuriteitsverwante dienste; identifiseer risiko's en bedreigings vir die sekuriteit van die departement; verskaf inligting rakende voorvalle aan ondersoekbeamptes; voer voorlopige voorvalondersoeke uit en dien verslae in; rapporteer defektiewe toerusting/stelsels; verseker dat stelsels optimaal funksioneer deur geskeduleerde dienste; monitor en reageer op alarmstelsel; administreer alle beheerkamerbedrywighede om die departement se bates te beskerm; hou toesig oor alle beheerkameraktiwiteite; rapporteer alle voorvalle en enige geidentifiseerde nie-nakoming rakende sekuriteitsvoorskrifte; hersiening van beeldmateriaal op versoek deur die behoorlike prosedure; dateer alle registers vir die waargenome voorvalle op; verskaf ondersteuning aan administrasie en verwante funksies; bepaal roosters, skofskedules en oortyd; beheer verlof en verwante personeelsake in ooreenstemming met HR-prosedures en voorskrifte; administereer sleutelbeheerstelsel; monitor prestasie van werknemers en bepaal opleidingsbehoeftes.

Prior to appointment for SMS, a candidate would be required to complete the Nyukela Programme: Pre-entry Certificate to Senior Management Services as endorsed by DPSA which is an online course, endorsed by the National School of Government (NSG). The course is available at the NSG under the name Certificate for entry into the SMS and the full details can be sourced by the following link: https://www.thensg.gov.za/training-course/sms-pre-entry-programme/. Each application form must be fully completed, duly signed and initialed on both pages by the applicant. The application must indicate the correct job title, the office where the position is advertised and the reference number as stated in the advert. Failure by the applicant to complete, sign and initial the application form will lead to disqualification of the application during the selection process.
