Vereistes

• 'n Graad (NQF vlak 7 of hoër) in Finansies, Ekonomie, Rekenkunde, Besigheidsbestuur, Ontwikkelingsfinansiering, of 'n verwante veld.
• Formele opleiding of kwalifikasie in projek- of programbestuur. 10–15 jaar se ervaring in projekfinansiering, korporatiewe finansiering, gestruktureerde finansiering of beleggingsontleding, insluitend die waardering en afsluiting van komplekse transaksies.
• Bewese ervaring in die assessering van innoverende of nie-standaard finansiese strukture en toelaaggebaseerde finansieringsmeganismes.
• Sterk begrip van privaatsektorfinansiering, aansporings en risikodinamika.
• Bewese vermoë om due diligence uit te voer, finansiele state en modelle te ontleed en goeie beleggingsbesluitvorming toe te pas. 5 jaar ervaring op 'n senior bestuursvlak.
• Voordeelige Ervaring en Kwalifikasies: Nagraadse kwalifikasies in Finansies, Ekonomie, Rekenkunde, Besigheidsbestuur, Ontwikkelingsfinansiering of 'n verwante veld.
• CFA, CA(SA), MBA (Finansies/Strategie), of 'n ewekragige senior professionele kwalifikasie.
• Ervaring in ontwikkelingsfinansiering, impakbelegging, gemengde finansiering, klimaatfinansiering of oorgangsfinansiering.
• Ervaring in die werk aan projekte of waardekettings wat verband hou met die groen ekonomie, informele ekonomie, of die Regverdige Energie-oorgang.
• Ervaring in die uitvoer of vertaling van navorsing oor waardekettings, arbeidsabsorpsie of ekonomiese ontwikkelingsuitkomste.

• Oorspronklik ontwikkel en ontwikkel 'n pyplyn van hoë-impak, werkskeppingsgefokusde beleggingsgeleenthede in vennootskap met privaatsektorfirmas, tussengangers, ontwikkelaars en ekosisteemvennote.
• Ontleed, struktureer en beoordeel komplekse finansiese instrumente en finansieringsmodelle, insluitend gemengde finansiering, skuldstrukture, uitkomsgebaseerde finansiering en prestasiegekoppelde toelaes.
• Voer streng finansiele, kommersiële en operasionele due diligence op projektoepassings uit, insluitend assessering van finansiele bykomstigheid, volhoubaarheid en uitvoeringsrisiko.
• Identifiseer en ontleed finansiele, mark-, bestuurs- en prestasierisiko's wat uit verskillende projekstrukture ontstaan, en beveel toepaslike versagtingsstrategieë aan.
• Lei en verseker gehalte van waarderingsverslae en finansieringsaanbevelings wat aan Tegniese Evaluering- en Beleggingskomitees voorgelê word.
• Verskaf tegniese toesig oor hoë-risiko of komplekse projekte binne die Jobs Fund-portefeulje en ondersteun remediërende optrede waar prestasie-uitdagings ontstaan.
• Voer onafhanklike toegepaste navorsing uit oor werkskeppingsgeleenthede, prioriteitswaardekettings, die informele ekonomie en groen en Regverdige Energie-oorgang-verwante sektore, en vertaal insigte na finansierings- en strategie-insette.
• Presenteer finansiele, risiko- en navorsingsbevindings duidelik aan interne besluitnemers en eksterne belanghebbendes.
• Skakel, mentor en bied tegniese ondersteuning aan junior personeel, en bou institutionele vermoë in finansiele waardering, risiko-ontleding en innoverende finansiering.
• Verteenwoordig die Jobs Fund in toepaslike belanghebbende-betrokkenhede, markforums en leersisteme.

The Jobs Fund is recruiting a Senior Technical Finance Specialist to strengthen its capacity to originate, structure, appraise, and oversee innovative, employment-generating projects that leverage public finance to unlock private investment. This is a senior specialist role suited to an experienced finance professional with strong private-sector exposure and a deep understanding of development, impact, and transition finance. Only South African Citizens, and Permanent Residents need to apply as per PSR 2016. The post title and reference number must be clearly indicated on the Z83 form. A recent comprehensive CV should be submitted. Certified copies of qualifications and other relevant documents will be required to be submitted to HR on or before the day of the interview from shortlisted candidates. All short-listed candidates will be subjected to security vetting to confirm employment, personnel suitability checks. Following the technical exercise and interview, a maximum of three (3) SMS candidates will undergo psychometric assessments to assess cognitive capabilities, behavioural preferences, emotional intelligence, and integrity. In accordance with the DPSA Directive on Compulsory Capacity Development, Mandatory Training Days and Minimum requirements, this SMS level appointment will be subject to the completion of the Senior Management Pre-entry programme as endorsed by the National School of Government.
