Vereistes

• Minimum opvoedkundige kwalifikasie: Basiese R425-kwalifikasie (d.w.s. diploma/graad in verpleegkunde) of ekwivalente kwalifikasie (R683 plus R254) wat registrasie by die South African Nursing Council (SANC) as 'n Professionele Verpleegkundige toelaat. 'n Nagraadse diploma (R635) geakkrediteer in Emergency Nursing.
• Registrasie by 'n professionele raad: Registrasie by die SANC as 'n Professionele Verpleegkundige.
• Ervaring: Vlak 1: 'n Minimum van 4 jaar se toepaslike/erkenbare ervaring in verpleging na registrasie as 'n Professionele Verpleegkundige by die SANC in Algemene Verpleging.
• Vlak 2: 'n Minimum van 14 jaar se toepaslike/erkenbare ervaring in verpleging na registrasie as 'n Professionele Verpleegkundige by die SANC in Algemene Verpleging.
• Ten minste 10 jaar van bogenoemde periode moet toepaslike/erkenbare ervaring wees na verkryging van die 1-jarige post-basiese kwalifikasie of nagraadse diploma in die tersaaklike spesialiteit.
• Inherente vereiste van die pos: Bereidwilligheid om skofte te werk, Sondae, openbare vakansiedae, nagskof en oortyd te werk om aan die operasionele vereistes te voldoen.
• Bevoegdhede (kennis/vaardighede): Toon 'n diepgaande begrip van verpleegwetgewing en verwante wetlike en etiese verpleegpraktyke en hoe dit op dienslewering impakteer.
• Effektiewe interpersoonlike, leierskaps-, organisatoriese, besluitnemings- en konflikoplossingsvaardighede.
• Wees goed ingelig oor South African Triage Scale (SATS) en Emergency Nursing.
• Goeie kommunikasievaardighede (mondeling en skriftelik).
