Koördineer kliniese infeksievoorkoming en -beheerprogramme by Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital, wat 'n Professionele Verpleegkwalifikasie en sewe jaar se ervaring vereis.
Pligte
- Ontwik en implementeer 'n Infeksievoorkoming- en -beheerplan vir die instansie.
- Verseker dat Infeksievoorkoming en -beheer asook die Antibiotiese beheerkomitee in plek is en funksioneel is.
- Bevorder Infeksievoorkoming en -kultuur binne die instansie deur toepaslike werkswinkels, oudits, vergaderings en bewustheid te hou.
- Identifiseer Infeksiebeheerrisiko's en doen aanbevelings oor verminderingsstrategieë.
- Verskaf opleiding aan alle kategorieë personeel oor Infeksiebeleid, -beginsels en -praktyke.
- Voer Infeksievoorkoming- en -beheerbewaking uit en doen verslag oor die voorkoms en prevalensie van waaksaamheidsorganismes en oordraagbare siektes aan die Distrik en aan die Communicable Disease Centre.
- Identifiseer en rapporteer alle hospitaalverworwe infeksies.
- Besoek die Departemente binne die instansie om infeksievoorkoming- en -beheerrisiko's te identifiseer.
- Verseker dat alle departemente voldoen aan die Raamwerk, protokolle en riglyne vir Infeksievoorkoming en -beheer.
- Identifiseer uitbreek van infeksies, en begin ondersoek en beheermaatreëls in samewerking met die Infeksievoorkoming- en -beheerkomitee.
- Verskaf 'n doeltreffende en effektiewe Infeksievoorkoming- en -beheerdienst in die instansie.
- Dien as 'n Kliniese bestuurskampioen in die fasiliteit, en verseker 'n doeltreffende stelsel vir kliniese risikobestuur.
- Hersien die instansie se Standard operating procedures vir Infeksievoorkoming en -beheer.
- Verskaf advies oor verskeie aspekte van infeksievoorkoming en -beheer, asook toepaslike beleid aan bestuur.
