Mediese spesialis in trauma en brandwonde gesoek vir Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital in KwaZulu-Natal, wat MBChB, FCS(SA) of MMed Surg, en HPCSA-registrasie as 'n traumachirurg vereis.

Vereistes

  • MBChB of ekwivalent;
  • Aansoekers moet oor 'n toepaslike hoër chirurgiese kwalifikasie (FCS(SA) en/of MMed Surg) beskik en tans by die Health Professions Council of South Africa as 'n Trauma Surgeon geregistreer wees.
  • Registrasiesertifikaat as 'n Spesialis Trauma Surgeon.
  • Bykomende kwalifikasies: eFAST-kursus, MIMMS en, of ACLS/PALS.
  • DSTC- of brandwonde-ervaring.
  • Cert Trauma (SA) subspesialis-opleiding voltooi.
  • Voorkeur sal gegee word aan aansoekers wat die Cert Trauma (SA) subspesialis-eksamen voltooi het.
  • Ervaring: Grade 1: Ervaring nie toepaslik nie vereis die Fellowship in Surgery of the College of Medicine of South Africa of ekwivalent, en registrasie by die Health Professions Council of South Africa.
  • Aansoekers moet as 'n spesialis in chirurgie geregistreer wees by aanvang van pligte.
  • Grade 2: vereis toepaslike kwalifikasie, spesialisregistrasiesertifikaat plus 5 jaar se ervaring na registrasie by die Health Professions Council of South Africa as 'n Medical Specialist in General Surgery.
  • Grade 3 vereis toepaslike kwalifikasie, spesialisregistrasiesertifikaat, plus 10 jaar se ervaring na registrasie by die Health Professions Council of South Africa as 'n Medical Specialist in General Surgery.

Pligte

  • Deelname aan die kliniese trauma- en brandwondedienste: interdissiplinere interne koördinering van die bestuur van die pasiënte: toesig oor die chirurgiese opleidingstudente wat deur die trauma- en transplantrasionele eenhede roteer: versekering van die hoogste standaarde van kliniese, professionele en etiese gedrag: hulpverlening by die onderrig van voorgraadse mediese studente, nagraadse chirurgiese opleidingstudente: uitvoer, help en stimuleer van navorsing binne die etiese riglyne van die Health Care Act: bevordering van opvoeding in traumapreventie en transplantaat-gemeenskapsbewustheid.
  • Fisiese teenwoordigheid by aankoms van toneelroepe en onstabiele gevalle word verwag.
