Die departement van Gesondheid soek 'n verpleegassistent by Niemeyer Memorial Hospital in KwaZulu-Natal om pasiëntsorg, higiëne, voeding en kliniese prosedures te ondersteun.

Vereistes

• Graad 1: Ervaring: Geen Graad 2: Ervaring: 'n Minimum van 10 jaar toepaslike/ herkenbare ervaring in verpleging na registrasie as Ingeskrewe Assistent by SANC.
• Graad 3: Ervaring 'n Minimum van 20 jaar toepaslike/ herkenbare ervaring in verpleging na registrasie as Ingeskrewe Verpleegassistent by SANC.
• Grade12 of gelykwaardige kwalifikasie, plus 01 jaar Verpleegassistent-sertifikaat wat registrasie by die Suid-Afrikaanse Verpleegraad (SANC 2026) moontlik maak.
• Huidige registrasie by die Suid-Afrikaanse Verpleegraad (SANC 2026) as 'n Verpleegassistent.
• Kennis, Vaardighede, Opleiding en Bevoegdhede Vereis: Nursing Act.

• Verseker die handhawing van pasiënthigiëne.
• Fasiliteer die voedingsstatus van pasiënte.
• Fasiliteer die mobiliteit van pasiënte.
• Fasiliteer die eliminasieproses.
• Meet, interpreteer en rekord vitale tekens.
• Bedryf alle toepaslike apparate en toerusting.
• Bied professionele verpleegkundiges bystand met kliniese prosedures (d.w.s. die toedien van intramuskulêre inspuitings).
• Voorbereiding van pasiënte vir diagnostiese en chirurgiese prosedures.
• Bestel voorraad en toerusting op 'n kostedoeltreffende wyse.
• Rapporteer verlies of skade onmiddellik.
• Om die gedragskode soos vereis in die Public Service en deur die Professionele Liggaam te handhaaf.
• Soek leergeleenthede, d.w.s. in-diensopleiding, kursusse.
• Bied pasiënte bystand met bad, aantrek, voed en toiletbehoefte.
• Help pasiënte met mobiliteit, posisionering en veilige oordrag.
• Verseker dat pasiënte gemaklik is en hul waardigheid handhaaf.
• Neem veranderinge in pasiënt se fisiese/ emosionele toestand waar en rapporteer dit aan die toesighouer.
• Meet en rekord vitale tekens.
• Volg infeksievoorkoming en -beheerprosedures.
• Beoefen behoorlike handhigiëne en persoonlike beskermingsuitrusting.
• Handhaaf netheid van pasiëntversorgingsareas en toerusting (PPE) Verseker 'n veilige omgewing deur val te voorkom en gevaar te rapporteer.
• Reageer vinnig op pasiëntversoeke en noodgevalle.
• Rekord versorging wat verskaf is akkuraat en vinnig.
• Neem deel aan skiftoorhandiging en volg instruksies van toesighouers op.
• Handhaaf pasiëntvertroulikheid.
• Toon stiptheid, betroubaarheid en professionele gedrag.
• Rapporteer foutiewe toerusting en verseker dat voorrade voldoende is.
