Pos vir Gesondheids- en Veiligheidsbeampte by Madadeni Provinsiale Hospitaal in KwaZulu-Natal, wat 'n diploma in Omgewingsgesondheid of Veiligheidsbestuur vereis met 3-5 jaar se ervaring.

Vereistes

• Graad / Nasionale Diploma in Omgewingsgesondheid of Veiligheidsbestuur.
• Minimum van 3-5 jaar se ervaring in Veiligheid.
• Kennis, vaardighede en bevoegdhede vereis: Kennis van relevante wetgewing rakende Beroepsgesondheid en -veiligheid.
• Identifikasie, beheer, uitwissing en monitering van hazards.
• Gesondheidsopvoeding en administrasie van die dienste.
• Kennis van rekenaarvaardigheid. Ongelukondersoek. Rampbestuur.

Pligte

• Identifikasie van moontlike situasies wat kan lei tot besering/onskiktheid/dood van 'n staflid/besoeker.
• Behoorlike skade of verlies, interne ramp, medies-juridiese eis en rapportering daarvan aan die bestuurder van beroepsgesondheid en -veiligheid.
• Verseker dat die gedelegeerde bestuurs- en administratiewe funksies betyds en korrek uitgevoer word sodat gesondheid en veiligheid in die instelling kan funksioneer.
• Bystand verleen by die ontwikkeling en samestelling van handleidings, beleide en protokolle wat ingesluit sal word by die uitrol van die gesondheids- en veiligheidsopleiding, oriëntering- en inlywingsprogramme.
• Deelneem aan veiligheidsoudits vir die instelling in ooreenstemming met die Wet op Beroepsgesondheid en -veiligheid, 85 van 1993.
• Bystand verleen aan die bestuurder van beroepsgesondheid en -veiligheid om te verseker dat geboue, konstruksies, aanlegte en masjinerie voldoen aan en behoud van voldoeningssertifikate handhaaf soos gereguleer deur die Wet op Beroepsgesondheid en -veiligheid, 85 van 1993 en die regulasies daarvan.
• Reëll en rekord hou van die rampoefeninge.
• Verseker dat alle werknemers en diensverskaffers binne die hospitaal voldoen aan die vereiste veiligheidsprotokolle.
• Verseker dat mense, pasiënte, personeel en die gebou veilig is en die Hospitaal wetlik voldoen, OHSD, norms en standards, DOH-vereistes, werkplekinspeksies uitvoer, PPE-bestuur, ergonomie en personeelveiligheid.
• Skakel met die beroepsgesondheidspan oor T.B, Hep B, stralingsmonitering, ens.
• Verseker brands veiligheid en noodgereedheid.
• Verseker Infeksiebeheer en pasiëntveiligheidsondersteuning, d.w.s. waterkwaliteit, ventilasie, afvalbestuur, kontrakteurveiligheid.
• Voer opleiding en bewustheid oor Gesondheid en Veiligheid uit.
• Implementeer monitering en kwaliteitverbetering.
