Professionele verpleegkundige wat spesialiseer in gevorderde vroedvrouenskap word gesoek vir Vryheid Distrikshospitaal om omvattende moeder- en pasgebore sorg te verskaf.

Vereistes

• Diploma / B-graad in verpleegkunde of gelykwaardige kwalifikasie wat registrasie by die SANC as 'n Professionele Verpleegkundige met Vroedvrouenskap toelaat.
• Relevante postbasiese kwalifikasie (Diploma in Gevorderde Vroedvrouenskap en Pasgebore Verpleegkunde-wetenskap).
• Registrasie by SANC as Professionele Verpleegkundige (Algemeen) en Gevorderde Vroedvrouenskap.
• Huidige SANC-kwitansie.
• Graad 1: 'n Minimum van 04 jaar toepaslike/erkenbare ervaring in verpleegkunde na registrasie as Professionele Verpleegkundige by SANC in algemene verpleegkunde.
• Graad 2: 'n Minimum van 14 jaar toepaslike/erkenbare ervaring in verpleegkunde na registrasie as Professionele Verpleegkundige by SANC in algemene verpleegkunde.
• Ten minste 10 jaar van bogenoemde periode moet toepaslike/erkenbare ervaring in die spesifieke spesialiteit wees na verkryging van die 1-jaar postbasiese kwalifikasie in die relevante spesialiteit.
• Vereiste kennis, vaardighede, opleiding en bevoegdhede: Kennis van verpleegsorgprosesse en -prosedures, verpleegstatute en ander relevante regskaders.
• Goeie kommunikasievaardighede. Verslagdoeningsvaardighede. Fasiliteringsvaardighede. Koördineringsvaardighede. Skakelvaardighede. Netwerkvaardighede. Probleemoplossingsvaardighede. Inligtingsbestuur. Kennisbestuur.
• Beplanning en organisering. Rekenaargeletterdheid.

Pligte

• Verskaf omvattende voorgeboortelike, intrapartum en nageboortelike sorg, insluitend normale bevallings en die bestuur van verloskundige noodgevalle.
• Voer risiko-assesserings, vroeë opsporing en bestuur van komplikasies tydens swangerskap, kraam en puerperium uit.
• Voer pasgebore suiwering, noodsaaklike pasgebore sorg en Kangaroo Mother Care uit.
• Implementeer en monitor Moeder-, Kind- en Vroue-gesondheidsprogramme in ooreenstemming met provinsiale en nasionale riglyne.
• Verseker veilige, gehalte-verloskundige dienste om die vermindering van moeder- en pasgebore sterftesyfers te ondersteun.
• Verskaf PHC-dienste: MIV-toetsing, inisiasie, behoud in sorg, VL-monitering en -onderdrukking volgens Siyeza en Operation Phuthuma-vereistes.
• Bestuur TB-, STI-, NCD-, Gesinsbeplanning- en EPI-programme.
• Triageer pasiënte, diagnoseer, behandel en verwys in ooreenstemming met die omvang van praktyk en kliniese protokolle.
• Spoor standaardtrekkers, gemiste afsprake en verlies-vir-opvolg TROA op.
• Monitor en verminder PSI's, klagtes en wagtye.
• Verseker voldoening aan Ideal Clinic-standaarde en infeksievoorkoming/-beheer.
• Neem deel aan oudits, datavalidering en verslagdoening vir MCWH- en MIV/TB-aanwysers.
• Bevorder pasiëntgesentreerde sorg en professionele gedrag.
• Handhaaf akkurate kliniese rekords, registers en statistieke.
• Superveer en mentor PN, EN, ENA en CHW's op diens.
• Verseker koste-effektiewe gebruik van verloskundige toerusting, medisyne en voorraad.
• Rapporteer verliese/skade.
• Neem deel aan die 24/7-skof om kontinuïteit van sorg in 'n besige township-fasiliteit te verseker.
• Hou by SANC-regulasies en die Openbare Dienskode van Gedrag.
• Dra by tot die vermindering van risiko's.
• Verskaf gesondheidsvoorligting aan pasiënte en die gemeenskap oor moedersgesondheid, MIV/TB-voorkoming.
