Hoof van Kliniese Eenheid in Ortopedie by Madadeni Provinciale Hospitaal in KwaZulu-Natal, wat 'n MBChB en HPCSA spesialisregistrasie met vyf jaar se ervaring na registrasie vereis.

Vereistes

• 'n Geskikte kwalifikasie in die toepaslike Gesondheidswetenskap (MBCHB);
• Plus, Huidige registrasie by die Health Professionals Council of South Africa as 'n Spesialis in die kategorie Ortopedie.
• Plus Ten minste Vyf (5) jaar toepaslike ervaring as 'n Mediese Spesialis na registrasie by HPCSA as 'n mediese spesialis in die kategorie Ortopedie.
• Kennis, vaardighede en bevoegdhede vereis: Deeglike kliniese kennis en kundigheid in die tersaaklike dissipline.
• Kennis van huidige gesondheids- en Openbare Dienswetgewing, regulasies en beleid insluitend mediese etiek, epidemiologie en statistiek.
• Goeie kommunikasie-, leierskaps-, besluitnemings- en kliniese vaardighede.
• Vermoë om junior dokters op te lei en aan voortgesette professionele ontwikkeling deel te neem.

Pligte

• Beplanning en implementering van Spesialis Ortopediese dienste (Buitepasiënt-, Binnepasiënt- en Operasiesaallyste).
• Deelname/voorsiening van buite-ure diens.
• Koördinering en billike rasionalisering van Spesialis Ortopediese diens Amajuba Distrik en buite-agtergeblewe dreineringsgebiede.
• Skakeling met instellingsbestuur van hospitale in die distrik en dreineringsgebiede om gehalte van sorg te verbeter.
• Fasilitering van personeelopleiding en -ontwikkeling.
• Deelname/ondersteuning van die uitreikprogram na die verwysende Hospitale en Klinieke.
• Skakeling met die tersaaklike Hoofspesialis rakende diensontwikkeling.
• Ontwikkel 'n opleidingsprogram vir mediese, verpleeg- en verwante dienste.
• Ontwikkel beleide en riglyne wat dienslewering fasiliteer.
• Deelname aan gehalteenhouverbouprojekte en kliniese ouditering.
• Deelname en fasilitering van kliniese navorsing.
• Kostedoeltreffende benutting van skaars hulpbronne.
• Deelname aan Senior Bestuurs- en strategiese aktiwiteite.
• Verrig ploeg.oortyd in ooreenstemming met hospitaalbehoeftes.
• Bestuur EPMDS van die Algemene Chirurgie departement.
