Regsdienste-administrasiebeampte by die Department of Home Affairs Hoofkantoor in Tshwane, wat 'n LLB-graad vereis om wetgewing op te stel en litigasie vir die Refugee Appeals Authority te behartig.
Vereistes
- An LLB degree or equivalent 4 (four) year legal qualification at NQF level 7 (seven) as recognized by SAQA.
- MR1: No previous legal experience is required.
- MR 2: 1 (one) years' relevant post-qualification legal experience in a drafting and litigation environment.

Pligte
- Die suksesvolle kandidaat sal onder andere vir die volgende spesifieke take verantwoordelik wees: Fasiliteer die daaglikse werking van die regseenheid van die Refugee Appeals Authority.
- Stel nuwe wetgewing op en wysig bestaande wetgewing wat deur die Refugee Appeals Authority geadministreer word.
- Verskaf mondelinge en skriftelike regsmenings rakende alle stukke wetgewing wat deur die Refugee Appeals Authority geadministreer word en enige ander tersaaklike wetgewing.
- Voer goed gestruktureerde navorsing en onderboude regsadvies en regsmenings op 'n daaglikse basis mondelings en skriftelik uit.
- Verskaf regsadvies en berei regsdokumente vir die eenheid voor.
- Fasiliteer insette in wetgewing en verskaf advies aan Refugee Reception Offices.
- Skakel met ander staatsdepartemente en instellings rakende wetgewende aangeleenthede.
- Rig litigasie-aangeleenthede teen die Outoriteit en skakel met die departement se direktoraat vir regsdienste oor sulke aangeleenthede.
- Neem deel om Wetsontwerpe deur die wetgewende opstel- en Parlementêre proses te neem, en die opstel van regsdokumente namens die Refugee Appeals Authority.
- Neem deel aan die deursoek en opstel van internasionale ooreenkomste en Memoranda van Ooreenkoms.
- Skenk aandag aan versoeke ingevolge die Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2000 (Act No. 2 of 2000).
- Verseker die implementering van doeltreffende risiko- en nakomingsbestuur.
- Implementering van beleide, prosedures, direktiewe, wette en regulasies.
- Vermoë om toepaslike prosesse en stelsels, asook onderskragende tegnologie, in te stel om die departement te ondersteun om die vereiste werk doeltreffend en effektief te bestuur.
- Ondersteun digitale transformasie.

Furthermore, applicants who possess (a) foreign qualification(s) are required to submit the evaluated results of such qualifications, as received from the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA); for SMS posts, they will be subjected to a technical exercise and interview. Following the technical exercise and interview, a maximum of three (3) SMS candidates will undergo psychometric assessments to assess cognitive capabilities, behavioural preferences, emotional intelligence, and integrity, will be subjected to an interview, various relevant tests and assessments, and employment suitability checks (credit, criminal, citizenship, qualifications, and employment references including verification of exit reasons, and conducting business with State). Once appointed, serving of a prescribed probation period, and obtaining of a security clearance appropriate to the post, will be required. Correspondence between the Department and candidates will be limited to shortlisted candidates only. The DHA complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (Act No. 4 of 2013).
