Environmental Health Practitioner Grade 1 benodig om malaria-programveldspanne te koördineer in siektesurveillance, vektorbeheer en gevalbestuur by Mbombela.
Vereistes
- 'n Geskikte Nasionale Diploma in Omgewingsgesondheid / Volksgezondheid of 'n gelykwaardige kwalifikasie wat registrasie by die Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as 'n Onafhanklike Omgewingsgesondheidspraktisyn toelaat (2026).
- Huidige registrasie by die HPCSA as 'n Onafhanklike Omgewingsgesondheidspraktisyn. 'n Geldige bestuurslisensie. Rekenaarvaardigheid.
- Goede mondelinge en skriftelike kommunikasievaardighede.
- Deeglike kennis van oordraagbare siektebeheer, omgewingsgesondheidswetgewing en volksgesondheidsprogramme.
- Vermoë om veldspanne te bestuur en te koördineer, onafhanklik en onder druk te werk, en wyd binne die provinsie te reis.
- Ervaring in malariabeheer, siektesurveillance, uitbraakreaksie, vektorbeheer, entomologie of gesondheidsbevordering sal 'n bykomende voordeel wees.
Pligte
- Koördineer en bestuur malaria-programveldspanne wat verantwoordelik is vir siektesurveillance, vektorbeheer, entomologiese surveillance, asook malaria-gevalbestuur en gesondheidsbevorderingsaktiwiteite.
- Beplan, implementeer, monitor en evalueer malaria-uitroeingsintervensies in ooreenstemming met Nasionale en Provinciale beleid, riglyne en operasionele planne.
- Koördineer en bestuur binnenshuise residuele spuitbewerings (IRS), insluitend beplanning, implementering, gehalteversekering en verslagdoening.
- Koördineer malaria-siektesurveillance-aktiwiteite, insluitend gevalkennisgewing, gevalondersoek, gevalklassifikasie, reaktiewe gevalopsporing, fokusondersoek en uitbraakreaksie.
- Neem deel aan gemeenskapsgebaseerde malaria-sifting, toetsing en behandelingsaktiwiteite in ooreenstemming met goedgekeurde malaria-gevalbestuursriglyne en staande operasionele prosedures.
- Ondersteun aktiewe gevalopsporing, huishoudingsifting en opvolg van malaria-gevalle om plaaslike oordrag te beëindig.
- Koördineer entomologiese surveillance-aktiwiteite, insluitend vektormonitering, muskietversamelings, insekdoderweerstandsurveillance en omgewingsassesserings.
- Koördineer en implementeer malaria-gesondheidsbevordering, gemeenskapsmobilisering en gedragsveranderingskommunikasie-aktiwiteite.
- Bestuur malaria-programpersoneel, monitor prestasie en verskaf tegniese leiding en mentorskap.
- Koördineer inkopingsbeplanning, voorraadbestuur en verspreiding van malaria-programverbruiksgoedere.
- Verseker behoorlike batebestuur, voorraadbeheer en instandhouding van programtoerusting.
- Monitor programprestasie deur roetine-data-insameling, datakwaliteitversekering, ontleding en verslagdoening met behulp van goedgekeurde malaria-inligtingstelsels.
- Neem deel aan operasionele beplanning, mikro-beplanning, monitering en evaluering, operasionele navorsing en deurlopende gehalteverbeteringsinisiatiewe.
- Voer enige ander pligte uit wat deur die toesighouer gedelegeer word.
