Bedryf en onderhou spesialisde swaar masjinerie en voertuie, voer daaglikse padwaardigheidsinspeksies uit en verseis tydige onderhoud by die Breede/Gouritz-kantoor in Worcester.

Vereistes

• 'n NQF level 4.
• Die openbaarmaking van 'n geldige Code EC/EC1 (of gelykwaardige) onverstreke bestuurderslisensie met 'n geldige PDP.
• Gesertifiseerde bevoegdheids-/bedryfsertifikaat of relevante swaar masjinerie.
• Ten minste vyf (5) jaar se ervaring in die bestuur van swaar motorvoertuie en die bedryf van swaar toerusting.
• Verkeer- en padveiligheidsregulasies.
• Meganiese kennis van swaar voertuie en masjinerie.
• Occupational Health Safety (OHS).
• Basiese kennis van departementele vervoerbeleid en prosedures.
• Basiese rekordhouding en verslagdoeningsprosedures.
• Goeie kommunikasievaardighede beide (mondeling en skriftelik).
• Aandag aan besonderhede en waaksaamheid.
• Probleemoplossing in operasionele omgewings.
• Vermoë om onder druk en in ongunstige weers-/terreintoestande te werk.
• Integriteit en diskresie.

Pligte

• Verantwoordelik vir die uitvoer van gehalteversekering van bestuurder/operateurstelsels.
• Bedryf gespesialiseerde masjinerie/toerusting.
• Implementering van beste praktyke van bestuurder/operateurstelsels.
• Verantwoordelik vir daaglikse padwaardigheidsinspeksies.
• Verantwoordelik om te verseker dat voertuie betyds diens ontvang.
• Analiseer logistieke bedrywighede.
• Vervoer van werkspanne en materiaal/toerusting.
• Insameling van goedere by verskaffers en departementwinkels.
• Onderhoud van registrasie van departement en aflewerings.
• Funksioneer in ooreenstemming met toepaslike wetgewende vereistes.
• Opmerk en herstel klein meganiese probleme aan die voertuie/toerusting en neem stappe om dit te laat herstel.
• Rapporteer groot gebreke vir herstelwerk.
• Roetineonderhoud van toerusting.
• Voer roetine-inspeksie uit vir sigbare gebreke rondom die buitekant van die toerusting en voertuie. aandag aan spesiale versoeke.
• Registrering van daaglikse ritte, brandstof-en vloeistofvlakke en logboeke vir beide voertuie en toerusting.
• Periodeke ondersoeke op voertuie se onderhoudstandaarde.
• Verseker dat die plek skoon is waar toerusting gehou word om brandgevaar te vermy.
• Nakoming van veiligheids- en prosedures: verseker die veilige bewaring van toerusting en voertuie.
• Bystand met onderhoudswerk by peilstasies.
• Bystand met opknapping en konstruksiewerk by peilstasies.
• Bystand aan siviele spanne met siviele onderhoud en konstruksiewerk van Staatswaterskema-infrastruktuur.
• Gebruik van handgereedskap en kraggereedskap tydens konstruksiewerk.

One will be a practical exercise to determine a candidate’s suitability based on the post’s technical and generic requirements and the other must be an integrity (ethical conduct) assessment. Candidates will be required to complete a financial disclosure form and undergo security clearance.
