Oorsig

Die Departement van Gesondheid soek 'n ambagsman-timmerman by Queen Nandi Regional Hospital om instandhouding, herstelwerk en installasie van timmerwerk en verwante toebehore uit te voer.

Vereistes

• Graad 10.
• Toepaslike Handelsertifikaat in Timmerwerk volgens artikel 13(2) (h) van die Mannekragwet van 1981 soos gewysig.
• Ambagsman Graad A: Ten minste 0-2 jaar se toepaslike ervaring in 'n area na verkryging van die relevante handelsertifikaat.
• Ambagsman Graad B: Ten minste 14 jaar se toepaslike / herkenbare ervaring in 'n area na verkryging van die relevante handelsertifikaat.
• Geldige bestuurslisensie.
• Kennis, Vaardighede En Bevoegdhede Vereis: Deeglike kennis van die Ockupasionele Gesondheid en Veiligheidswet 85 van 1993.
• Goeie kommunikasievaardighede, interpersoonlike vaardighede en onderhandeling en beplanning.
• Tegniese verslagskrywing, praktiese vaardighede en ervaring van die handel.
• Goeie kennis van hospitaalaanleg en masjinerie, toerusting, lugversorging, asook gastoepassing en gastoerusting.
• Goeie kennis van wettige nakoming.
• Kreatiwiteit en analitiese denke, probleemoplossing en besluitnemingsvaardighede.
• Vermoë om in 'n span te werk, klantgefokus wees en reaksievermoë.
• Rekenaargeletterdheid: MS Office-sagtewarepakket en aanbiedingsvaardighede.

Pligte

• Voer instandhouding, herstelwerk, installasie en vervanging van timmer- en skrynwerk deur die hele hospitaal en verwante fasiliteite.
• Herstel, vervaardig en installeer deure, deurrame, vensters, kaste, kabinette, toonbanke, rakke, skeidingsmure, plafonne, daktonnels en ander houtstrukture.
• Installeer en onderhou hospitaalmeubels, passings, toebehore en gespesialiseerde houtkomponente in saale, teaters, klinieke, kantore en akkommodasie.
• Herstel en vervang slotte, skarniere, deursluitters, handvatsels en ander ysterware wat met timmerwerk gepaard gaan.
• Inspekteer geboue en hospitaalinfrastruktuur om gebreke te identifiseer en voorkomende en korrektiewe instandhouding uit te voer.
• Lees en interpreteer tekeninge, sketse, spesifikasies en werkinstruksies om timmerprojekte uit te voer.
• Bedryf, onderhou en verseker die veilige gebruik van timmerhandgereedskap, kraggereedskap, masjinerie en werkswinkeltuig.
• Vervaardig houtitems volgens vereiste spesifikasies en gehaltstandaarde.
• Verseker nakoming van die Ockupasionele Gesondheid en Veiligheidswet, infeksievoorkoming en -beheermaatreëls en departementele beleide terwur instandhoudingsaktiwiteite uitgevoer word.
• Reageer vinnig op noodinstandhoudingsversoeke om kontinuiteit van gesondheidsorgdienste te verseker.
• Inspekteer voltooide werk om nakoming van gehaltstandaarde en bouregulasies te verseker.
• Onderhou akkurate werkkaarte, instandhoudingsrekords, materiaalgebruikrekords en daaglikse werksverslae.
• Bied bystand by die voorbereiding van materiaalskattings, spesifikasies, kwotasies en verkrygingsvereistes vir timmerprojekte.
• Monitor en beheer die gebruik van materiaal, gereedskap en toerusting, en verseker verantwoordelikheid en minimalisering van vermorsing.
• Neem deel aan beplande voorkomende instandhoudingsprogramme en infrastruktuurverbeteringsprojekte.
• Superviseer en verskaf leiding aan Ambagsman-assistente, Handelsmanne-helpers, internes en leerders waar van toepassing.
• Werk saam met ander instandhoudingsdissiplines, insluitend Elektriese, Loodgieter, Meganiese, Verf en Siviele spanne.
• Verseker goeie huishouding in die timmerwerkswinkel en onderhou gereedskap en toerusting in 'n veilige en diensbare toestand.
• Neem deel naure buite-ure standby-pligte en noodoproep wanneer vereis.
• Voer roetine-inspeksies van hospitaalinfrastruktuur uit om potensiële veiligheidsgevare en instandhoudingsvereistes te identifiseer.
• Verseker nakoming van die Nasionale Bouregulasies en relevante Suid-Afrikaanse Nasionale Standaarde (SANS).
• Bied bystand by rampsherstel en noodherstelwerk tydens ongunstige weergebeurtenisse of infrastruktuurfalings.
• Bevorder doeltreffende benutting van hulpbronne en implementeer kostebesparingsmaatreëls in instandhoudingsbedrywighede.
• Leer vakleerlinge aan en dra by tot vaardigheidsontwikkeling binne die Instandhoudingsdepartement.
• Onderhou effektiewe kommunikasie met gebruikers, toesighouers en kontrakteurs rakende instandhoudingsaktiwiteite.
• Voer enige ander instandhoudingverwante pligte uit soos gedelegeer deur die Instandhoudingtoesighouer, Voorman of Hoofambagsman.
