Verskaf bestuurder- en boodskapperdienste vir die Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs in Durban, wat 'n Grade 10-kwalifikasie en 'n geldige kode 8-bestuurderslisensie vereis.
Vereistes
- Die ideale kandidaat moet oor 'n Grade 10-kwalifikasie beskik tesame met 7 – 12 maande relevante ervaring en 'n geldige kode 8-bestuurderslisensie.
- Essensiële kennis, vaardighede en bevoegdhede vereis: Die suksesvolle kandidaat moet oor die volgende beskik: Kennis van die prosedures om 'n motorvoertuig te bedryf, bv. prosedures om ritmagtigings te verkry, logboeke van die motorvoertuig in te vul, verbruiksgoedere (bv. petrol) te verkry en basiese dienste (bv. herstel van 'n plat band) te verkry, Kennis van die voorskrifte vir die korrekte gebruik van die motorvoertuig, bv. hoe en vir watter doel kan die motorvoertuig gebruik word, wat is die vereiste vir die stoor van die voertuig, Kennis van die prosedures om te verseker dat die motorvoertuig behoorlik onderhou word, Kennis van die prosedures om boodskapperfunksies en roetinekantoorondersteuning soos registerfunksies en die maak van fotostate te verrig, goeie interpersoonlike vaardighede; goeie kommunikasievaardighede (mondelings en skriftelik).
Pligte
- Die suksesvolle kandidaat sal vereis word om bestuurder- en boodskapperpligte te verrig met die volgende sleutelverantwoordelikhede: Bestuur ligte en medium motorvoertuie;
- Lewer 'n boodskapperondersteuningsdiens in die betrokke kantoor;
- Voltooi al die vereiste en voorgeskrewe rekords en logboeke met betrekking tot die voertuig en die goedere wat hanteer word, Doen roetineonderhoud aan die toegewysde voertuig.

All shortlisted candidates, including the SMS, shall undertake two pre-entry assessments. One will be a practical exercise to determine a candidate’s suitability based on the post’s technical and generic requirements and the other must be an integrity (ethical conduct) assessment, the logistics of which will be communicated by the Department. All shortlisted candidates for SMS posts will be subjected to a technical exercise and interview. Following the technical exercise and interview, a maximum of three (3) SMS candidates will undergo psychometric assessments to assess cognitive capabilities, behavioural preferences, emotional intelligence, and integrity.
