- Uitgebreide kennis van inligting- en kommunikasietegnologie-bestuur, IKV-strategieontwikkeling, ondernemingsargitektuur, inligtingsekuriteit, digitale transformasie, IKV-bedrywighede, toepassingsontwikkeling, infrastruktuurbestuur, stelselintegrasie, IKV-diensbestuur, projek- en programbestuur, besigheidskontinuïteit, finansiële bestuur, openbare-sektor-bestuur, die Public Finance Management Act, die wetgewende raamwerk vir die openbare diens en Regering se IKV-beleide en -standaarde.
- Vaardighede en Bevoegdhede: Uitsonderlike strategiese vermoë en leierskap met die vermoë om ondernemings-IKV-strategieë te ontwikkel en te implementeer wat organisatoriese prioriteite ondersteun.
- Bewese vermoë in program- en projekbestuur, finansiële bestuur, organisatoriese transformasie, veranderingbestuur, kennisoordrag en diensleweringsinnovasie.
- Sterke analitiese, beplannings- en probleemoplossingsvermoë, met uitstekende mensebestuurs-, belanghebbende-betrokkenheids-, kommunikasie- en kliëntgerigtheidsvaardighede.
- Bewese vermoë om grootskaalse IKV-moderniseringsinisiatiewe te lei, multidissiplinêre tegniese spanne te bestuur, strategiese vennootskappe te vestig en deurlopende organisatoriese verbetering te bevorder.
- Hoë vlakke van professionaliteit, etiese leierskap, innovasie, aanspreeklikheid en toewyding aan openbare dienswaardes.
Pligte
- Verskaf strategiese leierskap vir die ontwikkeling en implementering van die Departement se IKV-strategie en digitale transformasieprogram om organisatoriese doelwitte en dienslewering te ondersteun.
- Lei IKV-bestuur, ondernemingsargitektuur en IKV-beplanning om belyning tussen besigheidsvereistes en tegnologie-oplossings te verseker.
- Hou toesig oor IKV-bedrywighede, infrastruktuur, netwerke, toepassings, inligtingsbestuur en klantondersteuningsdienste om veilige, betroubare en doeltreffende IKV-dienslewering te verseker.
- Bestuur die ontwikkeling, verkryging, implementering en instandhouding van IKV-stelsels en digitale platforms wat organisatoriese prestasie verbeter en toegang tot regsdienste verhoog.
- Verskaf strategiese leierskap vir inligtingsekuriteit, kuberveiligheid, IKV-risikobestuur, besigheidskontinuïteit en rampherstel om die Departement se inligtingsbates en digitale omgewing te beskerm.
- Stel doeltreffende IKV-bestuurs-, projekbestuurs-, verkrygings- en kontrakbestuursraamwerke in werking om nakoming van wetlike en regulasionele vereistes te verseker.

These assessments are aimed at assessing candidate’s professional and technical competency against the job requirements and duties, general job fit, integrity and digital literacy). All shortlisted candidates for SMS positions will be subjected to a technical exercise and interview. Following the technical exercise and interview, a maximum of three (3) candidates will undergo psychometric assessment to assess cognitive capabilities, behavioural, emotional intelligence and integrity. All suitable candidates will be subjected to mandatory pre-employment screening/ suitability checks/ verification (credit, criminal, citizenship, qualifications, employment pending disciplinary action and professional registration. Suitable candidates for Senior Management Service positions will also be required to successfully complete the online Nyukela Pre-entry Certificate to Senior Management Services course, which can be accessed via: http://www.thensg.gov.za/training-course/sms-pre-entry-programme/. Candidates wishing to be considered for appointment, are encouraged to enrol for the course as soon as possible.
