Vereistes

• Toepaslike kwalifikasie wat registrasie by die HPCSA as 'n Mediese Spesialis moontlik maak (Master of Medicine in Internal Medicine en Fellowship of the college of South Africa).
• Minimum van 3 jaar se ervaring na registrasie by HPCSA as 'n Mediese spesialis.
• MBCHB en huidige registrasie by HPCSA as 'n spesialis.
• Wees in staat om kommuter-oortyd te werk.
• Rekenaargeletterdheid en bykomende ervaring in bestuur of toesig sal 'n voordeel wees.

• Kliniese leierskap en bestuur in die Interne Geneeskunde departement.
• Koördineer alle kliniese en administratiewe dienste in die departement.
• Verbeterde pasiëntervaring van sorg.
• Handhaaf bevredigende kliniese, professionele en etiese standaarde wat verband hou met hierdie dienste.
• Vermindering van wagtyd van Operasies.
• Verseker effektiewe en doeltreffende spesialisdienste om by te dra tot optimale en gehalte gesondheidsorg in ooreenstemming met die visie, missie en waardes van Gauteng department of health.
• Verseker nakoming van SOP's en kliniese protokolle.
• Toesig en effektiewe benutting van mediese personeel.
• Verantwoordelik vir opleiding en onderrig van mediese internists, junior dokters en mediese studente.
• Bystand in die implementering van DOH-beleide en programme.
• Volle deelname aan gehalteversekering, bestuur van PSI's en klagtes.
• Neem deel aan akademiese aktiwiteite in die hospital en in die cluster.
• Die potensiële kandidaat moet hoogs vaardig wees in die uitvoer van kliniese werk en deelneem aan kommuter-oortyd.
