Vereistes

• Basiese R425-kwalifikasie (d.w.s.
• Graad/Diploma) in verpleegkunde of gelykwaardige kwalifikasie wat registrasie by die South African Nursing Council (SANC) as 'n "Profesionele Verpleegkundige" met Verloskundige toelaat. 'n Postbasiese kwalifikasie in 'Operating Theatre Nursing Science', met 'n duur van ten minste 1 jaar, geakkrediteer by die SANC.
• Sertifikate van registrasie by die SANC (Algemene Verpleegkunde en Verloskunde).
• Huidige registrasie by die SANC (2026).
• Ervaring Graad 1: 'n minimum van 4 jaar toepaslike/erkenbare ervaring in verpleegkunde na registrasie as 'n Profesionele Verpleegkundige by die SANC in Algemene Verpleegkunde.
• Ervaring Graad 2: 'n minimum van 14 jaar toepaslike/erkenbare ervaring in verpleegkunde na registrasie as 'n Profesionele Verpleegkundige by die SANC in Algemene Verpleegkunde.
• Ten minste 10 jaar van bogenoemde periode moet toepaslike/erkenbare ervaring in die spesifieke spesialiteit (d.w.s.
• Operating Theatre Nursing Science) wees na verkryging van die 1-jaar postbasiese kwalifikasie in die tersaaklike spesialiteit.
• Kennis, Vaardighede Opleiding en Bevoegdhede Vereis: Toon 'n diepgaande begrip van verpleegwetgewing en verwante regs- en etiese verpleegpraktyke.
• Beskik oor kommunikasievaardighede vir die hantering van pasiënte, toesighouers en ander lede van die multidissiplinêre span, insluitend die skryf van verslae wanneer vereis.
• Goeie menslike verhoudings wat besorgdheid oor pasiënte toon, bevordering en ondersteuning van behoorlike behandeling en sorg, insluitend 'n bereidwilligheid en bewustheid om op pasiënte se behoeftes, vereistes en verwagtinge te reageer (Batho Pele).
• Toon 'n basiese begrip van HR- en Finansiële beleide en praktyke.
• Toon basiese rekenaarvaardigheid as 'n ondersteuningsinstrument om dienslewering te verbeter.
• Vermoë om eie werk, tyd en dié van ondersteuningspersoneel te beplan en te organiseer om behoorlike verpleegsorg in die eenheid te verseker.

Pligte

• Verskaffing van optimale, holistiese gespesialiseerde verpleegsorg met vasgestelde standaarde en binne 'n professionele/regsraamwerk in die Operasiesaal.
• Doeltreffende benutting van hulpbronne.
• Deelname aan opleiding en navorsing.
• Verskaffing van ondersteuning aan verpleegdienste en multidissiplinêre teaterspanne.
• Onderhou professionele groei/etiese standaarde en selfontwikkeling.
• Toon besorgdheid oor pasiënte, bevorder en ondersteun behoorlike behandeling en sorg, insluitend bewustheid en bereidwilligheid om op pasiëntbehoeftes, vereistes en Werks as deel van 'n multidissiplinêre span om goeie verpleegsorg te verseker wat koste-doeltreffend, billik en doeltreffend is.
• NB: Moet bereid wees om skof te werk soos toegeken; sluit nagskof, naweke en openbare vakansiedae in.
