Mediese Spesialis Grade 1 – 3

Oorsig
Mediese Spesialis Grade 1 tot 3 in Ortopedie gesoek vir Prince Mshiyeni Memorial Hospital in KwaZulu-Natal, wat MBCHB en HPCSA-registrasie vereis.
Vereistes
- Senior Certificate of ekwivalent.
- MBCHB-graad of ekwivalente kwalifikasie plus toepaslike kwalifikasie wat registrasie met die Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) in 'n normale spesialiteit (Ortopedies) moontlik maak.
- Sertifikaat van registrasie met Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as 'n Mediese Spesialis in Ortopedies.
- Huidige (2026) registrasie as 'n Mediese Spesialis met HPCSA.
- Grade 1: Geen ervaring vereis.
- Registrars wat hul opleiding voltooi het, kan ook aansoek doen op voorwaarde dat hul aanstelling onderhewig sal wees aan die voorlê van dokumentêre bewys van registrasie met die Health Professions of South Africa.
- Grade 2: Bykomend tot die minimum vereistes hierbo genoem, vereis die aanstelling in Grade 2 5 jaar se toepaslike ervaring na registrasie met HPCSA as Mediese Spesialis in Ortopedies.
- Grade 3: Bykomend tot die minimum vereistes hierbo genoem, vereis die aanstelling in Grade 3 10 jaar se toepaslike ervaring na registrasie met HPCSA as Mediese Spesialis in Ortopedies.
- Kennis, Vaardighede Opleiding en Bevoegdhede Vereis: Deeglike kennis en ervaring in Ortopedie.
- Kennis van huidige gesondheids- en openbare dienswetgewing, regulasies en beleide insluitend mediese etiek, epidemiologie en statistiek.
- Goeie kommunikasie-, leierskaps-, besluitnemings- en kliniese vaardighede.
- Vermoë om junior dokters op te lei en deel te neem aan voortgesette professionele ontwikkeling.
- Omvattende kennis van die spesialiteitsdissipline.
Pligte
- Verskaf veilige, etiese en hoë gehalte sorg deur die ontwikkeling van standaarde en risikobepalings in kliniese en klinesorg (pasiëntperspektief) in die onderskeie spesialiteit.
- Verskaf 'n volledige pakket van dienste insluitend buite-kantoorure dienste.
- Ontwikkel, handhaaf en ouditeer die korrekte implementering van kliniese protokolle en riglyne.
- Implementeer en handhaaf 'n doeltreffende, effektiewe en naatlose dienslewering proses binne die Instelling en verwysende fasiliteite.
- Beplan en verskaf deurlopende mediese opvoeding aan multidissiplinêre spanlede, voer navorsing uit en stimuleer navorsing.
- Bestuur en stuur die prestasie van junior personeel binne die area van beheer.
- Belyn kliniese dienslewering planne met hospitaalplanne en prioriteite.
- Verskaf Spesialisdienste en -ondersteuning aan die Kliniese Hoof van die Eenheid.
- Verseker Nakoming van Norme en Standaarde soos voorgeskryf deur Office of Health Standards Compliance (OHSC).
- Neem deel aan die voortgesette mediese opvoedingsprogram in die instelling.
- Bestuur EPMDS van junior personeel.
- Neem deel aan die uitgebreide bestuursaktiwiteite.
- Ontwikkel, implementeer en monitor kwaliteitsverbeteringsprogramme.
- Ontwikkel en neem deel aan die inligtingsprogram.
- Verseker 'n funksionele verwysingstelsel.
- Neem aktief deel aan die akademiese programma wat deur die Department of Health vir die nagraadse opleiding van Registrars aangebied word.
- Kliniese onderrig van voor- en nagraadse studente.
- Neem deel aan akademiese navorsing wat uitloop op die publikasie van artikels in wetenskaplike tydskrifte of die voorlegging van die resultate van sodanige navorsing by wetenskaplike kongresse.
- Bevoegdheid in die kliniese evaluering van pasiënte, interpretasie van spesiale ondersoeke binne die Dissipline.
- Lewer doeltreffende en koste-effektiewe dienste aan pasiënte wat deur die instelling bestuur word.
- Verseker Kliniese Bestuur binne die Dissipline.
- Lewer 'n effektiewe en doeltreffende administrasie van alle hulpbronne aan die Dissipline toegeken.
- Ondersteun die Hoof van Kliniese Eenheid (HCU) om 'n optimale levering van Dienste binne die Dissipline te verseker.
- Ondersteun HCU in die ontwikkeling van bestuursprotokolle/beleide vir Departement – Dissipline.
- Ondersteun met Kwaliteitsverbetering imperatiewe insluitend Kliniese Oudite (mortaliteit en morbiditeit verslagdoening en hersiening, kliniese dokumentasie-oudite ens.) en voortgesette professionele ontwikkelingsaktiwiteite.
- Handhaaf bevredigende kliniese professionele en etiese standaarde in die departement.
- Neem deel aan navorsing en hou toesig oor registrar-navorsing.
- Neem deel aan inligtingsprogramme van die DOH.
- Buite-kantoorure deelname aan oproeproosters.
