Adjunk-direkteur vir Eksterne Kommunikasie by GPAA, wat mediaverhoudinge en die implementering van kommunikasiestrategieë bestuur.

Vereistes

  • 'n Relevante drie (3) jaar Nasionale Diploma / Graad in Kommunikasie/Joernalistiek/Mediaverhoudinge (minstens 360 krediet).
  • Minimum van ses (6) jaar se ondervinding in Belanghebber- en Mediaverhoudinge met drie (3) jaar in 'n Bestuur- of Middelbestuurrol binne 'n relevante omgewing.
  • Rekenaargeletterdheid wat goeie praktiese kennis van Microsoft Office-produkte insluit.
  • Kennis van Werknemervoordele.
  • Kennis van Bestuur van Menslike Hulpbronne.
  • Kennis van Begroting.
  • Kennis van strategiese beplanning.
  • Kennis van Bestuur van Instelling.
  • Kennis van HR-strategie.
  • Analitiese vaardighede. Rekenaargeletterdheidsvaardighede. Kliënteverhoudingsvaardighede. Probleemoplossingvaardighede.
  • Goeie kommunikasievaardighede. Kliëntegeoriënteerd.
  • Vermoë om op alle vlakke te kommunikeer.

Pligte

  • Die inhoudshebber sal verantwoordelik wees vir 'n wye verskeidenheid take wat onder meer die volgende insluit.
  • Doeltreffende mediabeleid en -strategieë ontwikkel en implementeer.
  • Die kommunikasiestrategieë ontwikkel, implementeer en monitor, in ooreenstemming met die GPAA-, GEPF- en Nasionale Tesourie-doelstellinge.
  • Byvoegsel lewer in medialisieringsplanne en implementeer, en terugrapporteer oor doeltreffendheid.
  • Medialisieringsbeleid ontwikkel en implementeer en interne verspreiding en naleving verseker.
  • Strategiese belanghebber-/medialisieringsteun en leiding aan alle sakeeenhede verskaf.
  • Raamwerk ontwikkel om GPAA, GEPF en Nasionale Tesourie te lei in die hantering van krisisituasies.
  • Mediadekking monitor en evalueer.
  • Toesig hou oor die monitering en analise van druk- en elektroniese media vir enige verwysing na GPAA / GEPF / Nasionale Tesourie of die bedryf.
  • Verslag doen oor mediadekking, sleutelonderwerpe en areas van kommer identifiseer en indien nodig eskaleer.
  • Toesig hou oor die ontwikkeling en instandhouding van doeltreffende mediadatabasis.
  • Die tydige reaksies op mediaversoeke bestuur.
  • Toesig hou oor die mediadekking, insluitende alle relevante artikels (koerante en aanlyn) en verseker akkurate katalogarisering.
  • Die samestelling en verspreiding van koerante-oorskaarelings en elektroniese mediaartikels intern daagliks monitor.
  • Alle eksterne kontrakte bestuur deur mediasienste te verskaf in ooreenstemming met die SLA met GEPF.
  • Korrespondensie ontwikkel en bestuur.
  • Met die Publikasie- en Inhoudspesjalis konsulteer met betrekking tot die inhoud van alle geskrewe materiaal, en insette en konteks soos nodig verskaf.
  • Onderhoude met die media en belanghebbers organiseer en koördineer.
  • Byvoegsel lewer tot mediaonderwerpe en artikels vir die nasionale media.
  • Reaksie gee op mediaversoeke en mediaverklarings verspreiding.
  • Druk- en uitsaai-opvoedingskampanjes fasiliteer.
  • Personeel bestuur en ontwikkel.
  • Vertoning van direkte rapporteer vastel, ooreenkoms en monitor, verseker dat dit met prestasieooreenkomste gerig is.
  • Ontwikkelingsvereistes en opvolgingsbeplanningsvereistes identifiseer en selflering en raadgewing waar toepaslik verskaf.
  • Werk verdeel volgens die individuele werklas, kundigheid en ontwikkelingsvereistes van die individu.
  • Naleving van werksgelegenheidsgelykheid verseker.
  • Monitor dat individuele uitlegte sakevereistes bereik.
  • Departementele personeel werwe deur gedefinieerde prosesse te gebruik.
  • Werknemerproduktiwiteit en doeltreffendheid fasiliteer, inskakeling en omset tot die minimum beperk.
  • Personeel motiveer deur verskeie erkenningsmeganismes te implementeer.
  • Kommunikasie fasiliteer deur geskikte strukture en stelsels.
  • Kennisdeling en kennisooorgangsaanpassingsprosesse moontlik maak, insluitende deling van beste praktyke oor die GPAA.
  • Insette lewer tot prestasieterugvoering en selflering van spanlede.

Please note: All shortlisted candidates, including the SMS, shall undertake two pre-entry assessments. One will be a practical exercise to determine a candidate’s suitability based on the post’s technical and generic requirements and the other must be an integrity (ethical conduct) assessment. It should be noted that the GPAA does not support the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in any of its recruitment and selection processes and will disqualify an application if it picks up the use of AI when completing assessments without acknowledging the source of information. Successful completion of the Nyukela Public Service SMS Pre-entry Programme as endorsed by the National School of Government, available as an online course on https://www.thensg.gov.za/training-course/sms-pre-entry-programme/, prior to finalisation of appointment, is a requirement for all SMS positions. All shortlisted candidates for SMS posts will be subjected to a technical exercise and interview. Following the technical exercise and interview, a maximum of three (3) SMS candidates will undergo psychometric assessments to assess cognitive capabilities, behavioural preferences, emotional intelligence, and integrity.
