Lei regsadviseursdienste en kontrakbestuuring vir die Government Pensions Administration Agency op vlak van senior bestuur.
Vereistes
- 'n Relevante Graad/BTech-graad in Regswetenskap (LLB) of ekwivalente kwalifikasie (NKW 7 met 480 krediete).
- Minimum van vyf (5) jaar ervaring in middel-/senior bestuur.
- Ervaring in Finansiële Dienste, veral Personeelvoordele, Pensioenfonds- en Aftreevoordele-administrasie, sal 'n duidelike voordeel wees.

Pligte
- Bestuur die implementering van die Regsadviseurs-dienstestrategie.
- Monitor die implementering van die operasionele plan vir die Direktoraat ter ondersteuning van die bereiking van GPAA se strategiese doelwitte.
- Bestuur, monitor en beoordeel die Direktoraat-beleid, -prosedures en -prosesse ooreenkomstig beste praktyke en wetgewing.
- Bestuur die implementering van 'n doeltreffende kort-, medium- en langtermyn-bedryfsestrategie vir die Direktoraat.
- Voer benchmarks uit op nuwe ontwikkelings in praktyke om die doeltreffendheid en doelmatigheid van die organisasie te verbeter.
- Bestuur die voorsiening van beste praktyke met betrekking tot Direktoraat-funksies aan alle belanghebbendes.
- Bestuur die implementering van 'n bestuursdoeltreffendheids- en leierskapsstrategie.
- Betrek u by strategiese verhoudinge met relevante belanghebbendes om die belange van die organisasie te dien.
- Monitor naleving van relevante wetgewing in alle Direktoraat-funksies.
- Ontleed lekkasies in dienslewering, uitdagings en implementeer herstelsaksiestrategieë.
- Bestuur kwaliteit van dienste aan interne en eksterne kliënte/klante/belanghebbendes.
- Bestuur die beperking van geïdentifiseerde risiko's.
- Verseker inligtingsvloei na en afstemming met alle belanghebbendes om doeltreffende betrokkenheid te verseker.
- Voer trendontledings en vooruitskatting uit.
- Administreer die Regsadviseurs-dienstestelsel.
- Gee regsliewering, leiding en openinge aan relevante belanghebbendes rakende aangeleenthede van uitleg en/of implementering wat mag ontstaan.
- Gee deeglik nagevorsde, gesonde en praktiese regsliewering en openinge aan alle interne belanghebbendes oor aangeleenthede wat betrekking het op die funksies van die verskillende komponente binne die Departement, oor alle regs- en kontrakbestuurings- en operasionele aangeleenthede.
- Kommentaar op konsep-beleid en -prosedures van ander departemente vanuit 'n regsperspektief, soos aangevra.
- Verleen bystand aan die Menslike-Hulpbronsdepartement oor arbeidsverhoudingsaangeleenthede, soos aangevra.
- Administreer die Litigasiedienste-stelsel.
- Monitor die korrekte administrasie van alle regs- en litigasieaangeleenthede van die departement, insluitend regskoste in litigasiesake.
- Bestuur en monitor alle litigasiesake wat binne die verantwoordelikheid van die Regsdienstes-departement val.
- Selekteer en benoem geskikte regsbijstanders om namens GPAA op te tree wanneer nodig.
- Dien as tussenganger tussen benoemde regsbijstanders en die organisasie, verleen alle relevante inligting en verduidelik status.
- Verleen bystand met regsangeleenthede deur alle konsep-pleitstukke te beoordeel en hierop kommentaar te gee om te verseker dat dit met GPAA se belange in lyn is.
- Gee terugvoering aan Regsbestuurder oor vordering in litigasiesake, met klem op enige areas van potensiële risiko vir GPAA.
- Gee regsopeninge op regsvrae ooreenkomstig relevante wetgewing en binne realistiese tydskale.
- Bestuur alle bronne in die Direktoraat.
- Verseker die ontwikkeling en bestuur van personeel binne die Direktoraat.
- Implementeer en onderhou 'n relevante bestuursbenadering ter ondersteuning van doeltreffende sake-resultate binne die Direktoraat.
- Ontwikkel en handhaaf 'n kultuur van hoë prestasie, professionaliteit en integriteit ter ondersteuning van algehele dienslewering-kwaliteit.
- Verseker beheer van begrotings- en uitgawestelle ooreenkomstig strategiese doelwitte en relevante wetgewing.
- Verseker doeltreffende benutting van alle ander bronne (insluitend IS, Bates, Infrastruktuur, ens.) binne die Direktoraat.

Effective from 19 June 2026, the GPAA now utilises an e-Recruitment System which means all applicants must login/register to apply for positions, we only accept e-Recruitment online applications. The applicant’s profile on the e Recruitment is equivalent to the newly approved Z83, and it is the responsibility of applicants to ensure their profiles are fully completed or their applications will not be considered, as per the DPSA Practice Note. Certain documentation will still be required to be uploaded on the system such as copies of all qualifications including National Senior Certificate/Matric certificate, ID, etc., however these documents need not be certified at point of application, however certification will be required prior to attending the interview. The candidate must agree to the following: Shortlisted candidates must avail themselves for a virtual or in-person panel interview at a date and time determined by the GPAA. Please note: All shortlisted candidates, including the SMS, shall undertake two pre-entry assessments. One will be a practical exercise to determine a candidate’s suitability based on the post’s technical and generic requirements and the other must be an integrity (ethical conduct) assessment. It should be noted that the GPAA does not support the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in any of its recruitment and selection processes and will disqualify an application if it picks up the use of AI when completing assessments without acknowledging the source of information. Successful completion of the Nyukela Public Service SMS Pre-entry Programme as endorsed by the National School of Government, available as an online course on https://www.thensg.gov.za/training-course/sms-pre-entry-programme/, prior to finalisation of appointment, is a requirement for all SMS positions. All shortlisted candidates for SMS posts will be subjected to a technical exercise and interview. Following the technical exercise and interview, a maximum of three (3) SMS candidates will undergo psychometric assessments to assess cognitive capabilities, behavioural preferences, emotional intelligence, and integrity. Applicants must note that pre-employment checks and references will be conducted once they are short-listed and the appointment is also subject to a positive outcome on these checks, which include but not limited to: security clearance, security vetting, qualification/study verification, citizenship verification, financial/asset record check, previous employment verification and criminal record. Applicants will be required to meet vetting requirements as prescribed by Minimum Information Security Standards in line with the new DPSA Directive effective 01 April 2024.
