• Bestuur IKT-beheer.
• Bestuur die departementale inligtingsbeveiliging deur die implementering van gereedskap en tegnieke.
• Implementeer tegniese oplossings vir inligting- en kennisbestuur.
• Implementeer prosesse wat die afstemming van die IKT-doelwitte en -doelstellings bevorder.
• Koördineer die prosesse van die IT-stuurkomitee-vergaderings.
• Bestuur IKT-risiko's en ouditeure.
• Verseker doeltreffende bestuur van die IKT-risiko- en auditomgewing.
• Ontwikkel en bestuur IKT-risikobesturingsprosesse.

• Bestuur IKT-projekte deur die implementering van IKT-projektemtodologie.
• Ontwikkel en bestuur verhoudinge met toepaslike belanghebbendes.
• Voer navorsing uit.
• Voer navorsing en ontwikkeling van IKT-beheer uit.
• Bestuur IKT-bates en ondersteuningsdienste.
• Bestuur en monitor IKT-begroting en -inname.
• Bestuur die voortdurende verbetering van IKT-ondersteuningsdienste deur verbetering van dienste, praktyke en prosesse.
