Control Engineering Technician wat nodig is om tegniese dienste en kontrakteurksprestasie vir water- en sanitasie-infrastruktuur te bestuur.

Vereistes

  • National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Ses (6) jaar na-kwalifikasie tegniese (meganiese ingenieurswese) ondervinding.
  • Verpligte registrasie by die Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as 'n Engineering Technician.
  • Die bekendmaking van 'n geldige onvervalde Code B (08) bestuurders lisensie.
  • Rekenaargeletterdheid (Microsoft).
  • Ondervinding in tegniese ontwerp en analise.
  • Tegniese bevoegdhede sluit in projekbestuur, kwaliteitsbeheer en rekenaar-ondersteunde ingenieurswese-toepassings.
  • Goeie tegniese verslagtelling en mondelinge kommunikasievermoëns.
  • Toesighou-, aanbiedings- en interpersoonlike verwantskapvaardighede en bereidwilligheid om gereeld te reis en onafhanklik te kan werk.
  • Begrotingbestuur en werkende kennis van die Wet op Beroepsgesondheid en Veiligheid van 1993 en die PFMA.

Pligte

  • Tegniese dienste en ondersteuning aan die areakantoore bestuur.
  • Bystaan in die ontwikkeling, implementering en verslaglegging van die Cluster Maintenance Plan.
  • Kontrakteursksprestasie in ooreenstemming met DWS-spesifikasies en standaarde bestuur en inspekteer.
  • Stoppages aanspreek en foutbepaling uitvoer waar nodig.
  • Bystaan met die infrastruktuur-batelyweringsigting in verband met die toestand en plasing van bates.
  • Administratiewe en verwante funksies bestuur, insluitend insette vir die begrotingsproses verskaf, verslae saamstellen en indien en tegniese en verwante personeel en bates bestuur, toesig hou en beheer.
  • Kwaliteitsbeheer van meganiese toerusting tydens vervaardiging/instandstelling, installasie en inbedryfsname monitor.
  • Kandidaattegnici mentor.
  • Navorsing en ontwikkeling.

Following the technical exercise and interview, a maximum of three (3) SMS candidates will undergo psychometric assessments to assess cognitive capabilities, behavioural preferences, emotional intelligence, and integrity. A pre-entry certificate obtained from the National School of government is required prior to the appointment. All shortlisted candidates, including the SMS, shall undertake two pre-entry assessments. One will be a practical exercise to determine a candidate’s suitability based on the post’s technical and generic requirements and the other must be an integrity (ethical conduct) assessment. Candidates will be required to complete a financial disclosure form and undergo security clearance. Foreigners or dual citizenship holders must provide a police clearance certificate from country of origin (only when shortlisted). The Department of Water Sanitation is an equal opportunity employer.
