Vlugtelingstatusbepaling-beampte by die Departement van Binnelandse Sake, wat onderhoude voer en aansoeke verwerk.

Vereistes

  • 'n Voorgraadse kwalifikasie in Reg, Internasionale Betrekkinge, Politieke Wetenskappe, Openbare Administrasie, Openbare Bestuur, Menslikehulpbronbestuur, Operasies, Administratiewe Bestuur, Besigheidsadministrasie, Besigheidbestuur, Openbare Bestuur en Administrasie, Openbare Bestuur en Ekonomie, Bestuur of Administrasie op NQF-vlak 6 soos deur SAQA erkend, is vereist. 2 jaar se ondervinding in reg, analise of interpretasie van inligting is vereist.
  • Basiese begrip van die Vlugtelinge-wet.
  • Basiese begrip van die Grondwet van die Republiek van Suid-Afrika, veral die regte van kwesbare groepe.
  • Basiese begrip van die Immigrasiewet.
  • Basiese begrip van die Openbare Diens Regelgewingkader.
  • Bereidwilligheid om te reis en verlengde ure te werk.
  • Vereiste vaardighede en bevoegdhede: Verbindings- en interpersoonlike vaardighede. Probleemoplossingvaardighede. Kliëntegerigtheid.
  • Beplanning en Organisering.
  • Sterk Analitiese Vaardighede. Verslaguitstyling. Diplomasie.
  • Geskrewe en Mondelinge Kommunikasie. Rekenaargeletterdheid.
  • Vaderlandsliefdend, Eerlikheid, Integriteit en Aanspreekbaarheid.

Pligte

  • Die suksesvolle kandidaat sal onder andere verantwoordelik wees vir die volgende spesifieke take: Administreer en help die aansoeker om die DHA-1590 afdeling B in te vul.
  • Verseker dat alle persoonlike gegewens ingevul is soos per voorwaarde op die Visum.
  • Voer die onderhoud met die aansoeker uit deur 'n navraag deur die onderhoud te maak om die ware identiteit en oorsprong van die aansoeker asook die goeie geloof van die aansoeker te bevestig.
  • Verwys aansoekersna die Verenigde Nasies Hoë Kommissaris vir Vlugtelinge (UNHCR) of die Departement van Maatskaplike Ontwikkeling vir die plasing van die aansoeker.
  • Uitgawe en verlenging van eerste permit en eerste verlenging van afdeling 22-permit.
  • Administreer en bepaal asielaansoeke.
  • Ontkoppel afhanklikes van die hoofaansoeker wanneer hulle die ouderdomsmeerderheid bereik.
  • Verseker doeltreffende en doelmatige bestuur van menslike, fisiese en finansiële hulpbronne binne die Eenheid.
  • Coach en lei personeel met betrekking tot beste praktyke en nakoming van regelgewingvereistes.

Once appointed, serving of a prescribed probation period, and obtaining of a security clearance appropriate to the post, will be required. Correspondence between the Department and candidates will be limited to shortlisted candidates, only. The DHA complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (Act No. 4 of 2013). Applicants’ personal information will be used for recruitment purposes, retained where required for audit, and safeguarded against unauthorised disclosure, except where legally required.
