• Grade 12 noma okulinganayo; i-National Diploma noma i-Degree kwi-Environmental Health/Occupational Hygiene/Safety Management noma izifundo ezihambisanayo.
• Amava amabili (2) kuya kwayathathu (3) emisebenzini ephathelene nezempilo nokuphepha kwabasebenzi, ukusebenzisa izinqubomgomo, i-Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act; i-Occupational Health and Safety Act; i-Public Finances Management Act; i-Public Service Act and Regulations; i-Basic Conditions of Employment Act; ulwazi ngezenzo nezindlela zocwaningo; ulwazi ngemigangatho yokwakha; izindlela nezixhobo nokuqonda ukwethula komthetho kahulumeni.
• Ilayisensi yokushayela esemthethweni.
• Amakhono namandla: Ukuba nakho ukusebenza ngamakhompyutha (Microsoft Office).
• Abafanelekileyo kufanele babonise ukuba nakho ukuxhumana, ukuxhumana ngokusemthethweni, ukucwangcisa nokuthatha izinqumo.

Umsebenzi

• Qhuba ukuhlolwa kokuphepha;
• Qoqa izibalo zazo zonke izindaba eziphathelene nezempilo nokuphepha kwabasebenzi;
• Sebenzisa yonke imisebenzi ephathelene ne-SHERQ futhi qinisekisa ukudityaniswa okufanele kwesakhiwo se-EHWP kanye namapholisi asekelayo e-SHERQ;
• Siza ekuboniseni izingozi nengozi;
• Sebenzisa ukunciphisa ingozi futhi hlola ukusebenziswa kwezinyathelo zokulungisa ukuze kuthintelwe izengozi/izifo ezisebenzweni;
• Sebenzisa futhi khuthaza imigangatho yama-ergonomics, ukuthintela umlilo, izinqubo zokuqhumanisa ezokuphepha, imigangatho yokusebenza okubhekene nokuqashelwa kwesikhashana kwezokwelapha kanye nenhlawulezelo yomsebenzi;
• Qhuba ucwaningo lwezehlakalo futhi hlola ukungalaleli kumapholisi e-SHERQ, umthetho we-OHS bese ukubika kubandakanyekile abahlobene.
• Siza ngeplani yokusebenza futhi chaza izinhloso ukuze kuphushwe futhi kuthuthukiswe umsebenzi we-SHERQ ngaphakathi kumnyango;
• Hlanganisa izifundo zokuphepha namaphrogramu okwazisa;
• Sebenzisa izempilo nokuphepha kwabasebenzi kumnyango wonke; chaza futhi hlanganisa izincomo ezivela kokuqashelwa kwangaphandle; imibiko.
• Kwakha imibiko yenyanga zihlanu ngezinhlawulelo, izingozi ezinkulu kanye nazo zonke ezinye izindaba ezichazwe kumatriksi yokubika izehlakalo; bila zonke iziphazamiso ze-OHS kanye nezezimo zokwakha kubaphathi abahlobene futhi wenze eminye imisebenzi ephathelene nokuphathwa.
