• Minimum educational qualification: Qualification that allows registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse.
• Registration with a professional council: Registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse.
• Experience: Grade 1: None.
• Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years appropriate/recognisable nursing experience after registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse.
• Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years appropriate/recognisable nursing experience after registration with SANC as a Staff Nurse.
• Inherent requirements of the job: Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
• Will be required to work shifts, including night duty, weekends, and public holidays.
• Be prepared to assist in another department other than where you are placed, according to operational requirements.
• Competencies (knowledge/skills): Good communication, planning, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Enhance patient care through the implementation of SOP’s, policies, and guidelines.
