- Grade 10 plus at least 3 years’ experience in the food service component.
- Relevant qualifications will be an added advantage.
- Valid Code 8 Drivers Licence.
- Knowledge, Skills & Competencies: Sound knowledge of food services component.
- Leadership skills.
- Good organisational, planning, problem solving and teambuilding skills.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety Acts.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Supervisory skills.

- Ensures that proper methods are compiled with in respect of preparation and serving of food.
- Compile work schedule and allocate duties to staff to ensure their optimal utilization.
- Read and interpret food recipes.
- Keep staff attendance register.
- Control and make recommendations for the replacement of equipment and purchasing of stock.
- Responsible for the payment of accounts for stock items.
- Conduct orientation programmes for recruited personnel.
- Providing training to staff so that they improve skills to deliver at required standards.
