Overview

Messenger role at Tygerberg Hospital delivering and managing medical records folders between wards and clinics, requiring basic numeracy and literacy.

Requirements

• Minimum educational qualification: Basic numeracy and literacy.
• Experience: Appropriate experience in a registry environment or medical records.
• Competencies (knowledge/skills): Good communication skills.

Duties

• Deliver folders and other documents to wards and clinics.
• Collection of folders from different wards and clinics.
• Follow up queries of folders.
• Keep register of all folders delivered.
• Sorting of all incoming folders at Medical Records.
• Assist with ad hock tasks at Medical records.
