Overview

Administration clerk providing office support, logistical coordination and supply chain assistance for provincial health and wellness campaigns in the Western Cape.

Requirements

  • Minimum educational qualification: Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
  • Experience: Appropriate experience.
  • Inherent requirements of the job: Valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the Province.
  • Competencies (knowledge/skills): Knowledge and understanding of public health, project management, health promotion and cross-sectoral partnership.
  • Good interpersonal and research skills.
  • Computer literacy (MS suite, and digital platforms).
  • Administrative skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and organise work, exercise self-discipline and function under pressure, to work independently and in a team.
  • Creativity, self-motivation, assertiveness and ability to innovate and take initiative.

Duties

  • General Office Administration across Life Course Priority Areas.
  • Provide logistical coordination and event management support for provincial, district, and intersectoral campaigns across the life-course portfolios.
  • Support the financial and supply chain management (SCM) processes of the unit to ensure the timely acquisition of resources and compliance with financial guidelines.
  • Record Keeping, Database Maintenance, and Monitoring and evaluation Support.
