Lektorpos in verpleegkunde-onderrig by Chris Hani Baragwanath Campus, verantwoordelik vir die beplanning, koördinering en implementering van verpleegkunde-programme met teoretiese en kliniese onderrig.

Vereistes

• Senior Certificate of gelykwaardige kwalifikasie.
• Basies kwalifikasies geakkrediteer met South African Nursing Council (SANC) ingevolge Government Notice R425 (d.w.s.
• Diploma/Degree in Nursing) of gelykwaardige kwalifikasie wat registrasie met die SANC as 'n Registered Nurse and Midwife toelaat.
• Degree in Nursing wat verloskunde as 'n kwalifikasie insluit.
• Diploma/Degree in Nursing Education geregistreer met SANC as nurse educator. 'n Meestergraad in verpleegkunde sal 'n bykomende voordeel wees.
• Aansoeker moet by die South African Nursing Council (SANC) as Professional Nurse and Midwife geregistreer wees.
• PND1: Minimum van vier (4) jaar toepaslike/erkenbare verpleegervaring na registrasie as 'n Registered Nurse and Midwife.
• PND2: Minimum van vier (4) jaar toepaslike en erkenbare verpleegervaring na registrasie as 'n Registered Nurse and Midwife en tien (10) jaar toepaslike en erkenbare ervaring in verpleegkunde-onderrig na behaling van die eenjaar post-basiese kwalifikasie in Nursing Education.
• Kennis en vermoë om die South African Nursing Council Code of Ethics, Nursing Standards, Scope of Practice en alle relevante regulasies toe te pas.
• Moet rekenaarvaardig wees.
• Sterk kommunikasie-, toesig-, verslagskryf- en aanbiedingsvaardighede.
• Vermoë om in 'n span en onder druk te werk.
• Geldige bestuurslisensie.

Pligte

• Die suksesvolle kandidaat sal, onder andere, vir die volgende spesifieke take verantwoordelik wees: beplanning, koördinering en implementering van verpleegkunde-programme; verskaf teoretiese en kliniese onderrig, en voer evaluerings van verpleegkunde-programme uit; kliniese begeleiding, toesig en implementering van assesseringstrategieë om studentekompetensies te bepaal; oefen beheer oor studente uit; verskaf studente leiding en ondersteuning tot die bereiking van minimum kursusvereistes soos deur SANC vasgestel.
• Ondersteun die sending van die College deur in Komitees te dien, byeenkomste by te woon en deel te neem aan vergaderings en College/Campus-aktiwiteite.
• Bevorder die beeld van die College; neem deel aan navorsing relevant tot Nursing Education.
• Ontwikkel, hersien en evalueer kurrikulum.
• Raak betrokke by eie Continuous Professional Development (CPD) verwant aan eie praktykgebied en tot Nursing Education.
• Alle kortelys-kandidate, insluitend die SMS, sal twee voor-toelatingsassesserings onderneem.
• Een sal 'n praktiese oefening wees om 'n kandidaat se geskiktheid op grond van die pos se tegniese en generiese vereistes te bepaal en die ander moet 'n integriteitsassessering (etiese gedrag) wees.
