OHS-inspekteur by die Arbeidsentrum in Emaxesibeni om nakomingsinspeksies uit te voer ingevolge die Wet op Beroepsveiligheid en -gesondheid.

Vereistes

• Senior Certificate plus 'n 3-jaar erkende kwalifikasie in die tersaaklike veld, d.w.s.
• Beroepshigiëne of Omgewingsgesondheid. 'n Geldige bestuurslisensie.
• Geen ervaring word vereis nie.
• Departementele beleide en prosedures, Werknemersdienste-wet, Arbeidsverhoudingswet, Basiese Voorwaardes van Dienswet, Wet op Beroepsveiligheid en -gesondheid, COIDA, SABS-kodes, Werkloosheidsversekeringswet, WV-Bydraewet, Indiensnemingsbillikheidswet, Immigrasiewet, Vaardighede: Fasilitering, Beplanning, Organisering, Rekenaarvaardigheid, Interpersoonlik, Konflikhantering, Onderhandeling, Probleemoplossing, Ondervraging, Voorlegging, Innoverend, Analities, Monitering, Evaluering, Prestasiebestuur, Kommunikasie.

Pligte

• Beplan en voer onafhanklik omvattende inspeksies uit met die doel om nakoming van die Wet op Beroepsveiligheid en -gesondheid, Wet 85 van 1993 te verseker.
• Regulasies en geïnkorporeerde standaarde.
• Om registrasie ingevolge die Werkloosheidsversekeringswet en die Wet op Kompensasie vir Beroepsbeserings en -siektes te bevestig.
• Beplan, ondersoek en finaliseer onafhanklik voorvalle en klagtes wat aangemeld is rakende die OHS-wet en die tersaaklike regulasies en dwing af soos wanneer nodig, verskyn in die Hof as 'n staatsgetuie.
• Beplan en voer toegewysde proaktiewe inspeksies uit volgens die skedule om nakoming van die tersaaklike arbeidswetgewing te monitor, insluitend die opstel en konsolidering van verslae wat uit sulke inspeksies voortspruit.
• Beplan en voer onafhanklik voorligtingsveldtogte oor alle arbeidswetgewing uit.
• Analiseer die impak daarvan, konsolideer en stel 'n verslag op.
• Dra by op 'n hoër vlak tot beplanning, opstel en instandhouding van streeksinspeksieplanne en -verslae, insluitend die uitvoering van analise en opstel van gekonsolideerde statistiese verslae oor streeks- en toegewysde sake.
