Medies-Biologiese Wetenskaplike in Reproduktiewe Biologie by Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital, wat HPCSA-registrasie en ervaring in reproduktiewe geneeskunde vereis.
Vereistes
- Professionele registrasie en kwalifikasies, 'n toepaslike kwalifikasie wat registrasie by die Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as 'n Medies-Biologiese Wetenskaplike – Reproduktiewe Biologie/Kliniese Embriologie toelaat.
- Huidige registrasie by die HPCSA in die tersaaklike kategorie word vereis.
- Bykomende kennis: Ten minste 1 jaar se ervaring in 'n reproduktiewe geneeskundige eenheid.
- Ervaring: Graad 1: Geen ervaring na registrasie by die HPCSA as 'n Medies-Biologiese Wetenskaplike (Reproduktiewe Biologie/Kliniese Embriologie) vir Suid-Afrikaans-gekwalifiseerde werknemers nie.
- Een jaar se tersaaklike ervaring na HPCSA-registrasie vir buiteland-gekwalifiseerde werknemers wat nie verplig is om gemeenskapsdiens in Suid-Afrika te doen nie.
- Graad 2: Minimum van 10 jaar se tersaaklike ervaring na HPCSA-registrasie vir Suid-Afrikaans-gekwalifiseerde werknemers.
- Minimum van 11 jaar se tersaaklike ervaring na HPCSA-registrasie vir buiteland-gekwalifiseerde werknemers wat nie verplig is om gemeenskapsdiens in Suid-Afrika te doen nie.
- Graad 3 Minimum van 20 jaar se tersaaklike ervaring na HPCSA-registrasie vir Suid-Afrikaans-gekwalifiseerde werknemers.
- Minimum van 21 jaar se tersaaklike ervaring na HPCSA-registrasie vir buiteland-gekwalifiseerde werknemers wat nie verplig is om gemeenskapsdiens in Suid-Afrika te doen nie.
Pligte
- Die posbekleër moet die volgende kan demonstreer: Wetenskaplike uitnemendheid: sterk kennis van reproduktiewe biologie en kontemporêre embriologie.
- Tegniese bevoegdheid: bekwaamheid in ART-laboratoriumtegnieke en 'n toewyding om hoë tegniese standaarde te handhaaf.
- Aandag aan detail: noukeurige hantering, identifisering en dokumentasie van reproduktiewe materiaal.
- Integriteit en aanspreeklikheid: erkenning van die etiese en professionele verantwoordelighede wat verband hou met die hantering van menslike gamete en embrio's.
- Onderrig en mentorskap: bereidwilligheid om by te dra tot die ontwikkeling van toekomstige reproduktiewe gesondheidsprofessionals.
- Navorsing en innovasie: toewyding om onvrugbaarheidsorg deur navorsing, oudit en bewysgebaseerde praktyk te bevorder.
- Aanpasbaarheid en leierskap: vermoë om by te dra tot die voortdurende ontwikkeling van 'n hoëgehalte tersiêre ART-diens.
- Spanwerk: vermoë om doeltreffend binne 'n multidissiplinêre tersiêre gesondheidsorgomgewing te werk.
- Kommunikasie: duidelike, respekvolle en professionele kommunikasie met pasiënte en kollegas.
- Hierdie pos rapporteer aan die Hoof van die Reproduktiewe Geneeskundige Eenheid, departement van Obstetriek en Ginekologie.
- Die suksesvolle kandidaat sal saamwerk met reproduktiewe geneeskundige spesialiste, obstetrikoloë en ginekoloë, verpleegkundiges, laboratoriumpersoneel en ander lede van die multidissiplinêre span om paartjies en individue wat vrugbaarheidsassessering en bygesteunde reproduktiewe behandeling ondergaan, te ondersteun.

IALCH invites applications from suitably qualified and motivated Medical Biological Scientists specialising in Reproductive Biology/Clinical Embryology to join its newly established multidisciplinary infertility and assisted reproductive technology (ART) service in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. All shortlisted candidates, including the SMS, shall undertake two pre-entry assessments. One will be a practical exercise to determine a candidate’s suitability based on the post’s technical and generic requirements and the other must be an integrity (ethical conduct) assessment.
