Bedrog- en Antikorruptie-ondersoeker

Oorsig
Bedrog- en antikorruptie-ondersoeker benodig in Bloemfontein om voorkomingstrategieë te ontwikkel en ondersoeke vir die Free State Department of Economic Development and Tourism uit te voer.
Vereistes
- 'n Toepaslike graad (NQF Level 7) NQF 7 in Kriminologie of Polisie. 3-4 Jaar relevante ervaring in die bedrog- en antikorruptieverwante veld.
- Begrip van die Wetgewende Raamwerk wat die Openbare Diens reël.
- Kennis van werksprosedures ten opsigte van die werksomgewing.
- Bedrog- en antikorruptieverwante beleide/strategieë/richtlyne.
- Rekenaarvaardigheid en 'n geldige bestuurderslisensie.
Pligte
- Lewer insette by die ontwikkeling en implementering van die Bedrogopsporings- en Korruptievoorkomingstrategie/-plan in die Departement; hersien en evalueer antikorruptiekapasiteitsmaatreëls binne die Departement, voer inligtingsessies oor die bedrog- en antikorruptiestrategie/-plan uit.
- Ondersoek alle korrupsie-, bedrog- en diefstalsake wat aangemeld is, asook onreëlmatighede, vermorsde en ondoeltreffende besteding wat voorgekom het, en stel die toesighouer in kennis oor die weg vorentoe; verseker dat departementele sake wat aangemeld en deur die Provinciale Bedrog- en Korrupsie-hotlyn ontvang is, hanteer en ondersoek word, beveel en voltooi dissiplinêre maatreëls vir korrupsiesake in oorleg met die arbeidsverhoudinge-eenheid van die Departement of die SAPS, verseker dat getuies beskerming ontvang en anoniem bly, tree as hoofgetuie op by departementele verhore sowel as strafregtelike en siviele sake, werk nou saam met die SAPS en ander tersaaklike owerhede oor sake rakende bedrog, korrupsie en diefstal in die Departement.
- Stel ondersoekverslae oor bedrog-, korrupsie- en diefstalverwante sake op vir verdere hantering deur die Toesighouer of die Hoof van komponent, vir interne dissiplinêre verhore en vir strafregtelike of siviele verrigtinge; stel verslae op en dien dit in oor sake verbonde aan onreëlmatighede, vermorsde en ondoeltreffende besteding wat in die Departement voorgekom het, werk die bedrogregister by met sake wat ondersoek is, stel 'n portefeulje van bewyse op oor voorlopige en finale ondersoekresultate.
- Stel die Departement/Rekenpligtige Beampte in kennis oor die bedrog- en korrupsie-uitslae verbonde aan die finansiële openbare openbarings en die weg vorentoe daarvoor; versoek inligting wat vereis word volgens die richtlyne oor finansiële openbarings, ondersoek diskrepansies waar daar enige is. stel verslae op en dien dit in.
- Spoor bedrog- en korrupsie-aktiwiteite op en verwys beweringe na 'n tersaaklike regshandhawingsagentskap of ander toepaslike agentskappe/liggame ooreenkomstig die formaatreëling d.w.s.
- Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of the Hawks afhangende van die meriete van die saak.

To be appointed at Senior Management Service (SMS) level, you must complete the SMS Pre-entry programme offered by the National School of Government (NSG). All shortlisted candidates for SMS posts will be subjected to a technical exercise and interview. Following the technical exercise and interview, a maximum of three (3) SMS candidates will undergo psychometric assessments to assess cognitive, behavioural preferences, emotional intelligence and integrity. Assessment for core competencies outlined in the SMS Handbook shall be conducted within one month of the appointment of the candidate. The department shall communicate the logistics for the psychometric assessment to the candidate. All shortlisted candidates for other posts, shall undertake a pre-entry assessment which will be in the form of a practical / technical exercise. Candidates will also be assessed on Integrity (Ethical Conduct). Selection panels shall score the technical exercise as an additional criterion in the interview process.
