Vereistes

  • 'n Toepaslike graad (NQF Vlak 7) kwalifikasie in Verskaffingskettingbestuur/Logistieke Bestuur/Openbare Bestuur/Administrasie. 3 jaar verwante logistieke bestuurservaring op toesighoudende vlak.
  • Kennis van LOGIS-stelsel, PFMA, SCM Regulerende Raamwerk en alle voorskrifte wat verkryging in die Openbare Diens beheer.
  • Rekenaarvaardigheid en 'n geldige bestuurderslisensie.

Pligte

  • Koördineer en hersien die verwerking van rekwisisies vir goedere en dienste; ontvang 'n rekwisisie, verwerk rekwisisie, koördineer die plasering van bestellings vir goedere en dienste, plaas 'n bestelling vir die diens in die geval van 'n diens wat benodig word, bestel en verkry goedere indien dit nie 'n winkelartikel is of die item nie op voorraad is nie.
  • Koördineer die veilige bewaring en verspreiding van goedere; ontvang en kontroleer goedere, voer goedere op die relevante verkrygingstelsel in, stuur beskadigde, verkeerde en onderstandaard goedere terug, reik goedere uit soos benodig, voorbereiding en samestelling van betalingsdokumente.
  • Hou toesig oor werknemers om 'n doeltreffende logistieke bestuursdiens te verseker en onderneem alle administratiewe funksies wat vereis word met betrekking tot finansiële en HR-administrasie.
  • Dit sal, onder andere, die volgende behels: algemene toesig oor werknemers, ken pligte toe en voer gehaltebeheer uit op die werk wat deur toesighouers gelewer word, adviseer en lei toesighouers met betrekking tot alle aspekte van die werk, bestuur prestasie, gedrag en dissipline van toesighouers, verseker dat alle toesighouers opgelei en ontwikkel word om in staat te wees om werk van die vereiste standaard doeltreffend en doelmatig te lever, ontwikkel, implementeer en monitor werkstelsels en prosesse om doeltreffende en doelmatige funksionering te verseker.
  • Bestuur van menslike, finansiële en bateshulpbronne.
  • Beheer en veilige bewaring van alle verskaffingskettingdokumente.

Following the technical exercise and interview, a maximum of three (3) SMS candidates will undergo psychometric assessments to assess cognitive, behavioural preferences, emotional intelligence and integrity. Assessment for core competencies outlined in the SMS Handbook shall be conducted within one month of the appointment of the candidate. The department shall communicate the logistics for the psychometric assessment to the candidate. All shortlisted candidates for other posts, shall undertake a pre-entry assessment which will be in the form of a practical / technical exercise. Candidates will also be assessed on Integrity (Ethical Conduct). Selection panels shall score the technical exercise as an additional criterion in the interview process.
