Oorsig
Die Department of Water and Sanitation soek 'n staatsrekenmeester vir inkomste-bestuurspligte, insluitend fakture, intrekkings en skuldreconciliasies op SAP.
Vereistes
- 'n Ter sake NQF-vlak 6-kwalifikasie (Nasionale Diploma) in Finansiële Bestuur of enige verwante kwalifikasie in die veld, plus een (1) tot twee (2) jaar se ervaring in Inkomste-bestuur.
- Die openbaring van 'n geldige, onverstreke bestuurderslisensie.
- Praktiese ervaring van die SAP-stelsel en die WARMS-stelsel.
- Kennis en begrip van finansiële wetgewing, beleide, praktyke en prosedures.
- Kennis en begrip van finansiële voorskrifte soos die PFMA, Tesourieregulasies, en die Division of Revenue Act (DORA), National Water Act (NWA), Kennis van en toepassing van International Financial Reporting Standards van toepassing op inkomste, Generally Recognized Accounting Practice, Public Service Anti-Corruption Strategy, bedrog en voorkoming.
- Kennis van gelyke geleenthede en regstellende aksie-riglyne en wette.
- Kennis van administratiewe en klerklike prosedures en stelsels.
- Kennis en begrip van Departementele beleide en prosedures.
- Raamwerk vir die bestuur van prestasie-inligting.
- Kennis van die implementering van beleide van PMDS.
- Probleemoplossing en ontleding.
- Mense- en diversiteitsbestuur.
- Kliëntoriëntasie en kliëntfokus.
- Goeie kommunikasie.
- Verantwoordelikheid en etiese gedrag.
- In staat wees om onafhanklik te werk, bereidwilligheid om wyd te reis.
Pligte
- Verskaf effektiewe finansiële administrasie en Inkomste-bestuursdienste binne die Streek op SAP, insluitend kliëntfakture, inkomstesameling, skuldreconciliasies, betalingstoekenning, bestuur van wagrekeninge, monitering van Algemene Joernaal- en Skuldigersgrootboek-transaksies, kliëntverhoudingsbestuur, en verseker dat alle funksies akkuraat, doeltreffend en binne die voorgeskrewe tydraamwerke uitgevoer word.
- Herdruk van kliëntstate en fakture.
- Bywoon van maandelikse kliëntvergaderings met strategiese kliënte as deel van die bestuur van inkomste-bestuurskontrakte.
- Bystand verleen met die tariefbepalingsproses in die Streek.
- In staat wees om alle Inkomste-bestuursverslae wat ad hoc benodig word, te verskaf.
- Stel inkomsteverslae op en dien dit betyds in.
- Toesig oor personeel.

Following the technical exercise and interview, a maximum of three (3) SMS candidates will undergo psychometric assessments to assess cognitive capabilities, behavioural preferences, emotional intelligence, and integrity and a pre-entry certificate obtained from the National School of government is required prior to the appointment. All shortlisted candidates, including the SMS, shall undertake two pre-entry assessments. One will be a practical exercise to determine a candidate’s suitability based on the post’s technical and generic requirements and the other must be an integrity (ethical conduct) assessment. Candidates will be required to complete a financial disclosure form and undergo security clearance. Foreigners or dual citizenship holders must provide a police clearance certificate from country of origin (only when shortlisted). The Department of Water Sanitation is an equal opportunity employer.
