Fisiese beskermingsveiligheidsbeampte word in die Wes-Kaap benodig om toegangsbeheer, patrollies, batebeskerming en voorvalverslagdoening uit te voer.

Vereistes

• NQF level 4;
• PSIRA-registrasie minimum Graad C; 'n Geldige kode B (of hoër) bestuurslisensie.
• Bevoegdhede: Kennis en begrip van die volgende: Toegangsbeheerprosedures;
• Maatreëls vir die beheer en beweging van toerusting en voorrade;
• Voorgeskrewe sekuriteitsprosedures (MIS, NISA, Protection of Information Act, ens.) en die gesag van sekuriteitsbeamptes kragtens hierdie dokumente;
• Relevante noodprosedures;
• Vaardighede in die volgende: Geletterdheid in wiskunde;. Rekenaarvaardigheid;
• Toerustingbedrywing en Kommunikasie (geskrewe en mondeling).

Pligte

• Voer toegangs- en uitgangsbeheer uit;
• Voer interne en eksterne patrollies uit;
• Verskaf 'n batebeskermingsdiens;
• Voer effektiewe voorvalverslagdoening uit en Bedien beheerkamer-sekuriteitstoerusting.
