Vereistes

• Minimum opvoedkundige kwalifikasie: Kwalifikasie wat registrasie by die South African Nursing Council (SANC) as Verpleegassistent moontlik maak.
• Registrasie by 'n professionele raad: Registrasie by die South African Nursing Council (SANC) as Verpleegassistent.
• Ervaring: Vlak 1: Geen.
• Vlak 2: 'n Minimum van 10 jaar toepaslike/erkenbare verpleegervaring na registrasie by die SANC as Verpleegassistent.
• Vlak 3: 'n Minimum van 20 jaar en meer toepaslike/erkenbare verpleegervaring na registrasie by die SANC as Verpleegassistent.
• Inherente vereistes van die pos: Bereidwilligheid om skofte te werk, dag- en nagdiens, naweke en openbare vakansiedae om aan die operasionele vereistes te voldoen.
• Vermoë om onder druk en in 'n multidissiplinêre spankonteks te werk.
• Moet bereid wees om in alle departemente te help volgens operasionele vereistes.
• Bevoegdhede (kennis/vaardighede): Lewering van gehalte-verpleegsorg aan gesondheidsorggebruikers.
• Toepaslike ervaring in 'n gesondheidsomgewing.

Pligte

• Verskaf basiese verpleegsorg.
• Verskaf elementêre kliniese verpleegsorg.
• Help pasiënte met aktiwiteite van daaglikse lewe wat pasiënthigiëne, voedingstatus, mobiliteit en elimineringsbehoeftes insluit.
• Onderhou professionele groei, etiese standaarde en selfontwikkeling. Rekordhouding.
• Ondersteuning aan toesighouer en kollegas deur samdeelneming.
• Handhaaf 'n mate van professionaliteit in die uitvoering van pligte.
