Senior saakbeampte-pos by die Regterlike Inspektoraat vir Korrektiewe Dienste in Cape Town, verantwoordelik vir die ontvangs, assessering en adjudikasie van gedetineerde klae.
Vereistes
- Aansoekers moet in besit wees van 'n Graad 12/Senior Sertifikaat, BProc/LLB-graad of 'n erkende regskwalifikasie op NQF 7 soos erken deur SAQA. 1–3 jaar se relevante werkervaring waarvan 1 jaar in 'n toesighoudende hoedanigheid moet wees.
- Diepgaande kennis en begrip van die Grondwet, Correctional Services Act, PAJA, POPIA, Criminal Procedure Act, Bewysreg, statuutuitleg en ander regsraamwerke wat die korrektiewe omgewing en openbare diens regeer.
- Vaardigheid in Engels en ten minste een ander amptelike taal.
- Vermoë om analities te skryf. 'n Geldige bestuurslisensie is noodsaaklik, asook 'n bereidwilligheid om te reis.
- Vaardighede en bevoegdhede: rekenaarvaardigheid, regsondersoek en -analise, verslagskrywing, kommunikasievaardighede, belanghebbende-skakeling, beplanning en organisering, probleemoplossing, aandag aan detail, toesighoudende vaardighede en die vermoë om onafhanklik en as deel van 'n span te werk.
Pligte
- Die suksesvolle kandidaat sal verantwoordelik wees om gedetineerde klae te ontvang, te assesseer en te adjudikeer en behoorlike rekords te hou met die oog daarop om tendense, stelselmatige praktyke en aangeleenthede wat ingryping vereis, te identifiseer.
- Registreer en sif klae, assesseer ondersteunende dokumentasie, versoek bykomende inligting waar nodig en berei aanbevelings voor ter oorweging.
- OPENBARE Monitor tydraamwerke, verseker behoorlike saaklêerbestuur en stel statistieke en bestuursverslae vir die Bestuurder: Klae-eenheid op.
- Skakel met die Department of Correctional Services, Visitors’ Committees, Independent Correctional Centre Visitors en ander belanghebbendes om die oplossing van klae en eskalasie van dringende aangeleenthede te fasiliteer.
- Voer regs- en feitelike analise uit, stel korrespondensie, memorandum en voorleggings op, steun ondersoeke waar nodig en hou toesig oor administratiewe personeel binne die Klae-eenheid om kwaliteit, akkuraatheid en nakoming van JICS-prosedures te verseker.

Section E, F, G (Due to the limited space on the Z83, it is acceptable for applicants to indicate “refer to CV” or “see attached”. However, the question related to conditions that prevent re- appointment under Part “F” must be answered and the declaration signed. Only an updated comprehensive CV (with detailed previous experience, if any) and a completed and signed new Z83 application form is required. Only shortlisted candidates will be required to submit certified copies of qualifications and other related documents on or before the day of the interview following the communication from Human Resources and such qualification(s) and other related document(s) will be in line with the requirements of the advert. Non- RSA Citizens / Permanent Resident Permit holders in possession of foreign qualifications must be accompanied by an evaluation report issued by the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA) (only when shortlisted). Applicants who do not comply with the abovementioned instructions/requirements, as well as applications received late will not be considered. Failure to submit all the requested documents will result in the application not being considered. Correspondence will be limited to shortlisted candidates only. All shortlisted candidates shall undertake a pre-entry practical exercise as part of the assessment method to determine the candidate’s suitability based on the posts’ technical and generic requirements. Suitable candidates will be subjected to a personnel suitability check (criminal record, citizenship, credit record checks, qualification verification and employment verification).
