Assistente-direkteur benodig om kweekhuisgas-emissiestelsels te bestuur, met eindgebruikerondersteuning, probleemoplossing en die instandhouding van dokumentasie in Pretoria.

Vereistes

  • Nasionale Diploma (NQF6) in Inligtingstegnologie of 'n relevante kwalifikasie soos deur SAQA erken.
  • Drie (3) jaar se ervaring in die relevante veld.
  • Kennis van inligtingsbestuurstegnieke, metodologieë, stelsels en die nuutste tegnologieë.
  • Uitstekende begrip van databestuurbeginsele. Projektbestuur.
  • Ervaring in Google Apps, ruimtelike databasisse, programmering en karteringstegnologie, en die gebruik van wolkgebaseerde bedieners (Amazon, Google).
  • Vermoë om inligting in te samel en te analiseer.
  • Kennis van wetenskaplike, ingenieurs- en IT-velde.
  • Sterke analitiese en probleemoplossingsvaardighede.
  • Vermoë om onder druk te werk.
  • Goeie IT-vaardighede in netwerking (internetverbinding, rotering en skakeling) SQL-databasisse, en XML/JSON.
  • Goeie kommunikasie (geskrewe en gesproke), analitiese, organisatoriese en verslagskryfvaardighede. Inligtingsbestuur.
  • Sin van verantwoordelikheid en lojaliteit.

  • Verskaf eindgebruikerondersteuning en opleiding.
  • Los hardeware- en sagtewareprobleme op.
  • Skep en onderhou dokumentasie vir stelsels, konfigurasies en prosedures.
  • Ontwikkel en implementeer voorvalreaksieplanne.
  • Verseker stelselbeskikbaarheid en betroubaarheid.
  • Implementeer en onderhou moniteringsoplossings om moontlike probleme proaktief te identifiseer en aan te spreek.
  • Reageer onmiddellik op stelselonderbrekings en ander kritieke voorvalle.
  • Werk saam met die IT-veiligheidspan om inligtingsveiligheidsmaatreëls in te stel en af te dwing.
  • Verskaf stelselontwikkelings- en instandhoudingsondersteuning.
  • Skakel met diensverskaffers vir ondersteuning en instandhouding van stelsels.
  • Implementeer en onderhou outomatiseringsgereedskap en skripte om herhalende take te stroomlyn.
  • Identifiseer en spreek stelselprestasieknelpunte aan.
  • Verskaf inligtingsbestuursdienste en data-analise.
  • Stel 'n rekordbestuurstelsel in en onderhou dit.
  • Verseker behoorlike dokumentasie, behoud en argivering van rekords.
  • Werk saam met klimaatsverandering- of GHG-inventariskenners om insigte uit organisatoriese data te put.
  • Ontwikkel en genereer verslae om besluitnemingsprosesse te ondersteun.

Entry level requirements for SMS posts: In terms of the Directive on Compulsory Capacity Development, Mandatory Training Days & Minimum Entry Requirements for SMS that was introduced on 1 April 2015, a requirement for all applicants for SMS posts from 1 April 2020 is a successful completion of the Senior Management Pre-Entry Programme as endorsed by the National School of Government (NSG) prior to appointment. The course is available at the NSG under the name Certificate for entry into SMS and the full details can be obtained by following the below link: https://www.thensg.gov.za/training-course/sms-pre-entryprogramme. Furthermore, Shortlisted candidates must provide proof of successful completion of the course. All shortlisted candidates, including the SMS, shall undertake two pre-entry assessments. One will be a practical exercise to determine a candidate’s suitability based on the post’s technical and generic requirements and the other must be an integrity (ethical conduct) assessment. Following the interview and technical passement for all SMS posts, the Selection Panel will recommend candidates to attend a generic managerial competency assessment in compliance with the DPSA Directive on the implementation of competency-based assessments. Persons appointed will be subjected to a security clearance, the signing of performance agreement and employment contract. The Department reserves the right not to make an appointment.
