Oorsig

Professionele verpleegkundige wat in teater spesialiseer, word benodig by Madadeni Provincial Hospital in KwaZulu-Natal om gespesialiseerde verpleegsorg te verskaf en junior personeel te toesig te hou.

Vereistes

• Diploma / Graad in Algemene Verpleegkunde. 'n Nagraadse kwalifikasie in Operating Theatre Nursing Science.
• Registrasie by die SANC as 'n Professionele Verpleegkundige. 'n Minimum van 4 jaar toepaslike of herkenbare ervaring in verpleging na registrasie as Professionele Verpleegkundige by die SANC in Algemene Verpleegkunde.
• Kennis, Vaardighede, Opleiding en Bevoegdhede Vereis: Sterk interpersoonlike, kommunikasie en aanbiedingsvaardighede.
• Vermoeë om onafhanklike besluite te neem. 'n Begrip van die uitdagings wat die openbare gesondheidssektor in die gesig staar.
• Vermoeë om kwessies en ander werkverwante aangeleenthede te prioriteer en om tydraamwerke na te kom.
• Hoë vlak van akkuraatheid.
• Diepgaande kennis van Wette, Beleide, Prosedures, Skrifte en Wetgewing.

Pligte

• Lewer optimale holistiese gespesialiseerde verpleegsorg aan pasiënte as lid van die Multidissiplinêre span.
• Lei en hou toesig oor junior personeel en studenteverpleegkundiges Handhaaf akkreditasiestandaarde deur te verseker dat daar aan Nasionale Norma en Standaarde voldoen word.
• Koördineer kliniese aktiwiteite van die eenheid.
• Neem deel aan die formulering, analise, implementering en monitering van eenheidsdoelwitte, beleide en prosedures.
• Neem deel aan verpleegoudits en hou akkurate rekords na.
• Toon besorgdheid oor pasiënte, bevorder pleitbesorg en fasiliteer behoorlike behandeling en sorg Verseker dat die eenheid voldoen aan Infeksievoorkoming en -beheer sowel as Beroepsgesondheid en Veiligheidsbeleid.
• Versterk etiek en professionaliteit.
• Verskaf 'n veilige en terapeutiese omgewing vir pasiënte, personeel en die publiek.
• Handhaaf 'n konstruktiewe werksverhouding met verpleegkunde en ander belanghebbendes.
• Neem deel aan personeelsonwikkeling deur gebruik van die EPMDS-stelsel en ander werkverwante programme en opleiding.
• Verseker dat toerusting en masjinerie te alle tye beskikbaar en funksioneel is.
• Woon vergaderings, werkswinkels en opleidingsprogramme by soos deur die toesighouer toegewys.
