Hoofdirekteur wat toesig hou oor kadastrale opmetingsnavorsing en -ontwikkeling, en transformasie van South Africa se kadastrale en besitregstelsels lei, gebaseer in Pretoria.

Vereistes

  • Minimum vereistes: Aansoekers moet 'n Graad 12-sertifikaat en 'n vierjaar Bachelorsgraad of Bachelorsgraad in Wetenskap in Geomatics / Land Surveying (NQF Level 7) soos deur die South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) erken besit, asook 'n Nyukela (Pre-entry Certificate to the SMS) wat voor aanstelling ingedien moet word.

  • Verskaf bestuur en navorsing vir staatsopmetings, landelike ontwikkeling en grondbesitthervormingsprojekte ooreenkomstig tersaaklike wetgewing, terme van verwysing, vooraf bepaalde standaarde en tesourie-instruksies.
  • Verskaf professionele dienste aan die publiek en regeringsdepartemente oor opmetings van staats- en trustgrond en staatsbinnehuishoudelike fasiliteite wat deur die private sektor onderneem word.
  • Bestuur en hou toesig oor die administrasie van internasionale grense.
  • Bestuur die administrasie van South Africa se internasionale grense, in ooreenstemming met South African en internasionale wetgewing vir sover dit die afbakening en vastelling daarvan aangaan.
  • Bestuur die navorsing, ondersoek en vind van oplossings vir anomalieë in Republic of South Africa se internasionale grense in samewerking met verteenwoordigers van die buurstate.
  • Bestuur adviesdienste oor Republic of South Africa internasionale grensaangeleenthede wat State Organs en Parastatals raak.
  • Bestuur die fisiese afbakening van internasionale grense en rekordhouding.
  • Bestuur en hou toesig oor die registrasie van Sectional Title Practitioners.
  • Monitor die Sectional Titles Practical Training Programme ooreenkomstig die Sectional Titles Act en opleidingskedule.
  • Verskaf sekretariatsdienste vir die registrasie van Sectional Titles Practitioners in ooreenstemming met vereistes van die Sectional Titles Act en regulasies.
  • Onderhou en dateer die register vir Sectional Title Practitioners op.
  • Bestuur en hou toesig oor die voorbereiding van tegniese prosedures en standaarde.
  • Verseker bestuur van die opdatering van Surveyor's General prosedures en standaarde, in ooreenstemming met wetgewing en in oorleg met belanghebbendes.
  • Ondersoek die uitwerking van tegnologiese vooruitgang op tegniese prosedures en standaarde en transformeer dienooreenkomstig.
  • Bestuur die voorbereiding en implementering van nuwe wetgewing en hersiening van regulasies ooreenkomstig die Land Survey Act en enige ander tersaaklike wetgewing.
  • Bestuur die implementering van nuwe wetgewing.
  • Verskaf ondersteuning aan die Survey Regulations Board (SRB) vir hersiening van regulasies kragtens die Act.
  • Ondersteun die Chief Surveyor-General met die administrasie en beheer van die Survey Regulations Board (SRB) en verskaf sekretariatsdienste daarvoor.
  • Verskaf ondersteuning aan die Chief Surveyor-General ten opsigte van die administrasie van die Geomatics Profession Act.
  • Doen navorsing en gee advies oor nuwe wetgewing wat 'n uitwerking op geomatics-aangeleenthede het.
